The Target in Federal Way, WA didn’t honor this coupon when they scanned it. She said it had to be the “notebook” that was pictured but it does not state this in any of the print on the coupon. 🙁
Same happened to me in IL, but i asked for manager and she accepted the coupon
I had a similar thing happen to me in NC. It beeped, and she said I did not have the correct items. She told me it was for the notebook pictured, but I told her it didn’t state that. She did end up accepting the coupon.
This is the exact reason why I have virtually stopped shopping at Target. With their own coupons, my store was only accepting them for what is pictured on the coupon; not what the wording of the coupon states. Can never get the deals.

I’m risking sounding like an idiot, but is it new that if you hover over the coupon it tells you if it’s a Target coupon? I haven’t printed any Target coupons recently and am excited to see this added.
Target coupons are store coupons and available on target.com. When u print it, it would say target coupon on top instead of manufactures coupon. Hth
Some are manufacturer coupons mixed in with the target coupons.
The mousing over information is newer. In the past, you wouldn’t know what type of coupon it was until it was printed.

Actually shopper, there IS a way to differientiate between store/manuf. If it says “when you buy” it’s a manuf coupon. “with purchase of” it’s a target coupon.
If it’s a house brand, like Archer Farms, Up & Up, etc, those are all store coupons.
Oh, and if it doesn’t say either, those are usually Target coupons.

At my target today there was a small BOGO sign on target brand crayons. Didn’t stop to read it so I’m not sure if it’s right

I picked up 3 packs of 2 Up & Up pink erasers. They were $.52 each so I paid $.02 per pack. They also had a pencil sharpener for $.47 to add to something. 10 packs of mechanical pencils were $.97 which become cheap if you add in less than $.50 items and use your redcard.
I printed 2 coupons and used them to purchase 6 poly folders w/prongs. NO problem in FL!!!! Thanks Collin!!
I tried using this coupon today on 4 of the folders and the register beeped. The cashier said that I could not use this coupon on such a low priced item. She called the manager over who pushed the coupon threw….the lines were long and she was super busy! Just an FYI in case you are heading to Target to do this deal.

I hadn’t either last year. After a year of using them, I know they are worth the price. Also, last year I expected to find a lower price than $3 for 24 pack: didn’t happen even though there was a coupon available. I stocked up today. Last year I had to pay like $4 for 18. As a point of reference, the 18 ct are on sale at Target for 5.76!
Thanks for the tip Emily. Where’d you find a 24 pack for $3? And were they pre-sharpened? The school is requested a box of sharpened pencils, no mention of the brand. Staples is selling their brand, pre-sharpened, box of 48 for $3 but I’d rather get Ticonderoga if I can find a decent deal.
The sale of the 24 Ticonderoga pencils is at Target this week. It is in the ad. They are not sharpened.

My coupon beeped too when I purchased the 3 folders but the manager pushed it thru
My two coupons beeped on my 6 folders. My cashier double checked my purchases and just pushed them both through.
I bought 3 index card @$ 0.49 and there was no beep.

Wasn’t able to use it in South Florida. They told me it won’t accept the coupon if it’s on sale items.
They are wrong. I hate when cashiers decide to make up their own rules. Nowhere on the coupon or in the coupon policy does it say that it can’t be used on sale items.
Either have the coupon policy on hand or read thru it multiple times so you know it by heart 🙂
