Does anyone know if the sunscreen has expiration dates?

    • Megan

Yes, they do… I just bought 4 packages, mine wont expire until 2017 🙂

      • Sabrina

That’s plenty of time to use them! Thanks!

      • Jessica

        Thank you!!!!

    • Lucy

      Yes, it does

  2. lancy

just came from target, was able to get the 2 pocket poly portfolio with and without prongs for free. i looked around and that was the only item below $1. hope to snag some of those index cards too. thanks Collin! out of topic, i got zone bars for 1.76 per 5pk box. got 4 boxes, used 2 2.50 off 2 manufacturers coupon, 25% off cartwheel for the greek chocolate flavor, and got 5$ target gift card back. awesome deal!

    • nicolegammeter

Way to rock the deals! 🙂

  3. Melissa

    • nicolegammeter

      Yay! 🙂

  4. Dapper deals

Go to staples and get 14 rolls of scotch expressions tape for $1.84. Makes it $25.76. Use $5 off $25. Use two $5 off $10 scotch expressions coupons and makes for $0.77 a roll!

    • nicolegammeter

      😀

  5. sandy

I have a $20 off $20 code for TinyPrints. If anyone wants to trade, please email me at lionss4321@gmail.com
    Thanks

  6. Jessica

I went to target this morning and got the sunscreen and folders. The sunscreen expires in 2017.

  7. Marcia

I am really hoping the FDA finds this sort of sunscreen is okay to use on kids. This sort of sunscreen makes my life as a parent of 3 so much easier! #applyingsunscreenissuchapain

    • Cas

I imagine you are referring to the recent reports about the dangers. What I don’t understand is; when applying do parents not make sure the kids are not facing directly towards the spray? I use it on my kids and they both know not to inhale when I am spraying it on them; as well as I put my hand up as a shield when spraying

      • Jaime

I agree, those warnings are kind of silly bc who isn’t careful spraying their kid… BUT I was just at the pool this week and saw a mom spray her kid carelessly. It was a little windy and i could see the spray misting up around his face as she did his arms.. and all while he was already half way in the pool!! It was ridiculous

That said, this up & up sunscreen also gets horrible ratings in the EWG database and is listed as one to avoid, so FYI for anyone considering this deal.

  8. Guest_K

Is there a reason why you can only use one sunscreen coupon when purchasing 3 packs?

    • Sabrina

A pack is considered “an item” regardless of how many are in it. It is scanned one time, even though there are 3 in it.

      • Sabrina

Misread your comment, sorry. The coupon probable states limit one coupon per transaction.

  9. Jennifer

I just printed off the schools list of items needed for kindergarten. They actually “requested” certain brands of items. Good thing I haven’t bought anything yet.

    • Ape

My daughter’s PreK4 has requested name brand as well for many items but I don’t think I’ll buy “Kleenex”. 😉 A tissue is a tissue for a bunch of 4 year olds.

    • Laura

I’m sure you can buy any brand. I can’t imagine they are that picky. And if so, I’m so glad we don’t go there! Goodness it should be enough that you buy supplies and show up to class.

      • Lady

Yea the school list I have is brand specific but I don’t get the brands unless it’s a great deal.

Crayola – easy to get a great deal.

If they ask for “Kleenex” but I find a better deal with Puffs – I’m sending it.

A lot of parents are pressed for $$.

    • Natalie

I can actually understand that. As an art teacher, I’ve found that certain glue sticks work so much better than others & the same goes for markers and colored pencils. Sometimes it better to spend a little more than to buy the cheapest thing if the cheapest thing doesn’t do it’s job.

      • karen

I so agree as a fellow teacher. While I appreciate the prices, hold out for the Elmer’s glue sticks, Ticonderoga pencils, and anything Crayola! Money well spent!

    • tilla ham

at my daughters private school, we are not allowed to buy any brand. we have to supply 60 pre sharpened ticondaroga pencils (the most expensive rarely a deal) zip lock certain size bags of that brand only, specific glue sticks never the cheap ones…it’s crazy, luckily my 2 highschoolers don’t have those sanctions

      • Lady

60! That’s ridiculous and yea that’s an expensive brand pencil.

My friend’s kids’ school list asks for that brand but she absolutely can’t afford the extra cost of some brand names so she sends Staples brand pencils — the teachers have never complained to her.

Atleast she & her husband are hardworking and responsible enough to provide their children with all supplies.

        • karen

Again, Ticonderoga are truly the best quality! Sharpen best and with fine erasers. You get what you pay for- as a teacher I see kids burn through the cheap pencils trying to sharpen them and tear holes in paper trying to erase,

    • Jill

My daughter’s list requires a 16 count box of Crayola Crayons. Which just annoys me because (doesn’t everyone know?) the 24 count are always cheaper.

      • Shawna

Buy the 24 pack and take 8 out. Lol

    • Diana

That is ridiculous to make u buy name brand items! 😳

      • karen

No it isn’t. As teachers our goal is to make the most of what you send and when you send the name brands suggested, it is with the intent that they last longest or do the best. The cheaper items sometimes really are not the best to use- ie pencils and gluesticks or crayons that are too waxy.

  10. Caitlin

Does anyone know if they have any bottles of sunscreen lotion marked down yet? I find that we waste so much of the spray and it ends up not being a good deal for my family.

    • leanne

I agree ! I bought banana boat sport spray this year because there was a good deal.. never again I’d rather use the lotion

  11. carmen

I don’t find any coupons only Yoobi school supply purchase of $5 or more

    • nicolegammeter

They are under “stationery & holiday.” Hope that helps! 🙂

  12. Stacey

I bought the folders. I printed out two coupons and got six folders for free. I also bought printer ink. The HP ink had a sale with a $5 gift card and it was part of the 15% off Target cartwheel deal for electronics.

    • nicolegammeter

      Sweet! 🙂

  13. Laura

My son turns 4 on Wednesday so I went to get some of the tape. I grabbed four rolls of the Scotch Expressions masking tape. They were $2.99 each but rang up buy 3 get 1 free. There were no signs so I had no idea until I was at checkout. It was all I got so my total wasn’t even over $10 but I handed over my $5 off $10, the cashier took it without question and the machine did not beep. I paid $4.75 after tax and my tax rate is 8.875%! So I was very happy!

  14. nicolegammeter

    🙂

  15. Deb

Are the Up and Up crayons good quality?

    • Bax

Yep! Purchased them last year when they are free, they are just like Crayola:)

      • Deb

        Thanks, Bax!

  16. teri

Sunscreen…Never tried the sprays but love the up n up sport lotion. Can anyone else chime in on these sprays. It’s an awesome deal but useless if no good. Reviews on T.com say they stain or didn’t work causing sunburn.

    • Amie

Check out this video: https://www.wvec.com/home/Consumer-Reports-warning-on-spray-on-sunscreens-266517491.html Consumer reports only recommend 5 different sunscreens after testing more then 20 and this Up & Up sunscreen is one of them. The issue is not if the sunscreen prevents sunburn but more about the possibility of inhaling chemicals in the sunscreen when you spray it in the air. With anything, just be careful how you are applying it. I actually spray it on my hands and then rub it in for my kids to make sure I am covering them. It’s also great for spraying any parts in my daughters hair because she burns very easily and her scalp is hard to put lotion on. I also use the spray when I’m alone and taking the kids to the beach because it’s the only way to get my back. I just make sure I hold my breath so I’m not breathing anything in and I make sure no one is standing close to me.

      • Madsmom

I don’t think we have to worry to much in Wisconsin! Only spend a few months outside in the sun anyways! Lol!

        • Maureen

I saw an article the other day that said melanoma was actually more prevalent in climates with less sun. Probably because people think clouds or cool temps mean you don’t need sunscreen.

    • Jenna

Bought this brand last year on clearance. We are very fair skinned, freckled, red headed people and it has worked really well for us:)
Also, for anyone in the Polaris area(ohio) they had a lot of this sunscreen left as of 7-14 and it is ringing up the discount price.

  17. Erin Coleen

Awesome deal. In my Target they were labeled as $13.99 even had a sign that stated $13.99 B3G1. I took it over to the red scanner machine and it rang up $4.19! Would never have known if I did not read your blog post. Thank you 🙂

  18. Alicia

I found a really nice igloo rolling cooler 70%. Regular 36.99 was 11.09! I sent a friend to her target she found a few on the shelf with the coolers not marked but she priced checked it. I wonder what else is ringing up 70% off?!!

  19. jennmitt

Is this where all the sunscreen is? I cant find the 3 pk or even an empty place where it would be at my store

  20. Erica

Scotch Expressions Tape is buy 3 get 1 FREE at my local (Oregon) Target as well!!

  21. kimnelly

I have no idea if anyone has brought this up some where else but did you know Kohls now sells school supplies? I think they were Office Max- I saw them Saturday.

    • Maureen

I saw them online. They are ridiculously priced though.

  22. D

Our sunscreen was back with the summer clearance still marked 13.99 but rang up 4.19. Thanks!! Also scored a plastic golf set for $3 🙂

  23. Diana

I got a pack of printer paper today, index card holder (going to use for coupons :)), index cards, 2pk of erasers, 2 glue bottles= $2.49 after coupons! Awesome!!!

  24. Turquoice

    I bought the pocket folder ($0.50), staples ($0.41) and a pencil case ($0.69) and paid $0.10. 🙂

  25. Laurie

I was able to get the sunscreen deal today also. What a great deal, but they only had the regular up n up spray left. Does anyone know if this works just as well and what the difference is? Would appreciate any input! Thanks, 🙂

  26. Mel

Just wanted to share that I was only able to find 2 of the 3-packs of the sunscreen today. I was really hoping to be able to do the buy 3 get one free deal in addition to the $4.19 sale price. But I found that the deal also includes other up & up personal care items. If you find the same situation, you may want to look around the store for more sale signs. I was able to add two boxes of Qtips and one of them was free. Every once in a while all the stars align for me at Target. I was so happy to finally leave there happy. Usually they are completely sold out of all the good marked down items.

  27. Lindsey

Just purchased the sunscreen at the Target in Elmhurst, NY. Thanks for the great deal! They still have a ton left just in case any one is planning on heading there 🙂

  28. SaraSue92

I went to target today for the up & up school supplies deal today and after the coupon my total came out to 0.04! Then the cashier took the coupon off and said I couldn’t use it and started reading the fine print I told her there was no minimum purchase requirement and she said oh well I can give you 0.85 off and I said why. She thought for a second so I said they were all up & up products so she said ok and gave them to me for the 0.04………I don’t understand why they try and fight it. Stay strong!

  29. Bax

The school supplies coupon states one per customer is this per day or per transaction?

  30. Julie

My Target had only SPF15 left on clearance. Doesn’t do this pasty white girl any good. 🙂

  31. jen

Yea! I was able to find the sunscreen 3 pack marked $13.99, but scanned them at the price scanner and they came up as $1.39! With the buy 3 get 1 free sale and 2 $1 Target sunscreen coupons, I paid $2.17 for 12 bottles of sunscreen! So excited!

  32. Maria

Yup! Just got back from Target and paid $1.39 per 3 pack. Got 15spf, 30spf and 50 spf. 15 and 30 have exp date in 2017 and 50 has exp date 11/2015. We’ve used these before and just as good as Coppertone! Thanks for the heads up Collin!

  33. stace

ours is marked down to 1.39!!!! three packs only!! also 90% off summer beach stuff!

  34. Karen A

I just got mine for $1.39 for a 3 pack – also buy3 get one free!! Got twelve pack of 2 for under the original cost of one ($13.99)…great deal. Also, found mine on an endcap display by the summer clearance (bbq)… there weren’t any by the suncare. Hope this helps because I found mine completely by accident!

  35. Patty

The sunscreen 3 packs are ringing up $1.39 buy 3 get one free. Plus the $1.00 target coupon! 3.17 for 4!

  36. lisa

Do they do adjustments on these? Just bought the sunscreen yesterday and paid more.

  37. Stacey

So the sunscreen is 1.39 in our store and was able to get one free when we bought 3 and 5% and the dollar coupon! I only could print three but what a deal!!!! Good luck all!

  38. Amy

The Kid 50spf sunscreen packs are $4.19 each too! I bought 4 today!

  39. mel
