Check out this super easy Walgreens deal you can score with no coupons needed! 🙂 Currently, Walgreens is offering up the Aquafina water bottles for only $1 (regularly $1.79!). Please note that these may not be marked, so be sure to price check (as you can see in the picture above, they were not marked at my store). Better yet, you’ll snag a $1 Register Reward for purchasing just one bottle – making for FREE water (after RR).

Please note that this $1 Register Reward will NOT print if you use an RR from the Schweppes deal from this week OR the Starbucks deal from last week to pay, as they are all from the Pepsi-Cola company. BUT you can have purchased these items previously or even the same day. Just make sure to separate the transactions and don’t use the Register Rewards to pay.

Here’s a re-highlight of the Schweppes deal…

seltzerSchweppes Seltzer Water 20 oz $1 = $1 RR
Final cost FREE!

You mean the register reward for aquafina wouldn’t print if we tried to use an RR that we got from Starbucks/Schweppes deal to pay for it? Or if we bought items from that deal at all with our cards it wouldn’t print for aquafina?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Correct. So you can’t use a Register Reward from the Starbucks/Schweppes deal to pay for the Aquafina as it won’t print the Register Reward since they are all courtesy of the Pepsi-Cola Company.

BUT you can have purchased these items previously or even the same day. Just make sure to separate the transactions and don’t use the Register Rewards to pay. Hope that clears up any confusion.

        Collin:

I think the wording of the post itself is missing the “pay with” portion as what you’ve clarified here is not how I took the post. Glad to have it explained further, but perhaps an update to the post would help others.

Thanks for all you do for all of us!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Gotcha… I will re-word. I can see how it would confuse others.

  2. Ariel

I am wondering the same thing… did they start putting limits on RR through your card??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No, they have not put limits on the Balance Rewards cards. So you can purchase these Register Reward deals more than once. You just need to separate the transactions and not use the Register Rewards to pay for the same Register Reward deals.

  3. Beth

There is no limit. But if you try and use a RR earned from Schweppes/Starbucks a new RR won’t print from the Aquafina because it’s the same company. You can opt to pay with 1,000 points, then just pay sales tax and get back the $1 RR
Also if you purchase the Schweppes and Aquafina in the same transaction only one RR will print.

  4. RA Cashier

Random question, do any of you guys print out a lot of coupons at one time, like ones you think you’ll use or just print them out right before you use it? TIA

    • Laura

I print mine when Collin tells me there’s a deal. LOL

    • Jessica

If it’s a high value or rare coupon on a product I use than I will print it out right away because sometimes high value coupons have a limit and will be gone if I were to print right before my trip. If it’s a product that I don’t necessarily ‘need’ or a coupon that is frequently offered, than I wait until I plan my trip. If it’s not available at that point than I just see it as I didn’t really need the product anyway. To many times I’ve printed a bunch of coupons thinking ill use them, and than I don’t get around to using them, so someone else could have printed it if I hadn’t, or I could of saved my ink. So that’s why I typically print when I’m planning my shopping trip, unless it’s a high value or rare coupon that I almost KNOW I will for sure use. I hope this is at least a little bit helpful!!

      • RA Cashier

It was, thank you! I never thought about it in a way that I’m taking a coupon from someone else!

      • mikeB

I couldn’t have said it better myself

    • mikeB

I use Colins coupon database constantly as well.

Like I said, Walgreens is not giving out THOUSANDS of BR money with this policy.
I even used some BR on a purchase. I had to return something, so the would only give me a store credit (even with the receipt.) because i had used BR on it. Then I tried to buy something with that card, and didn’t get the BR credit I was due… I hate this…..

    • RA Cashier

      That’d ridiculous!

  6. Dorothy

Which water taste better with the RR’s?

  7. Crystal

Does this work on flavored water at all?

  8. Pharmchick

I’m glad you mentioned that it won’t print a rr if you use the sbucks ones because I was going to do just that!

  9. Holly

Schweppes rung up full price at my store yesterday ($1.79). The cashier adjusted it down when I pointed the ad out. Someone else on another blog experienced the same.

    • Catie

I had the same issue and they had to adjust it for me.

  10. Stefani (@stefaniaf1)

Thanks for explaining this to us. And by the way, I have heard that RR deals cap at 19 per card. I have personally never done more than 10-12 x on a deal (usually much less) so I am not sure. I believe it was the recent Revlon nail polish deal that capped out at 19 per card, someone I know had to get another wags card to get all the colors she wanted.

  11. Anna

if we use a RR from starbucks to buy the Schweppes, will a new RR still print?

    • Suzyq

      No

  12. Nikki

so can you use RR from a different deal and still get RR from this and vice versa? I’ve heard you can only use RR to earn points or points to get RR otherwise you won’t get the correct credits… I am not a normal Walgreens shopper, personally I think their prices are ridiculous even during a lot of their sales! Any help would be much appreciated 🙂

  13. Gail

I had checked my Starbucks RR from last week and thought I could use it on the Schweppes water since they didn’t appear to have the same manufacturer. When the RR didn’t print from my Schweppes purchase, they brought in the manager. I showed him that they were different manufacturers (per the writing on the bottle – and per my own incorrect info), so he printed an RR for me. I was going to do the deal again this afternoon, but now I know why it didn’t work, so I won’t. Thanks for clarifying that for us. You’re the best.

  14. Kim

Can we use the rr from gold peak and still get rr on Schweppes?

  15. Angie B

My walgreens didn’t have either one 🙁

  16. Ruthy

Does anyone know if there is a limit in the amount that you can get in the store? The rude cashier that I got said there was only a 4 limit that I could do! I’m wondering if anyone knows if something is stated about this in there coupon policy or does it vary from store to store?
