If you have a Dollar General nearby, you may want to make plans to head over there today or tomorrow as they are offering up an extra 70% off Yellow Dot Summer Apparel & Shoes for the family (excludes Hanes, Gildan, Sunglasses, & $1 Flip Flops). Keep in mind that these items may be mixed in with other items, so just be sure to look for tags with yellow dots.
You may be able to find shoes for $2.10-$2.40 (reg. $7-$8!), swim suits for $2.10 (reg. $7!), 3-piece outfits for $2.70 (reg. $9), and much more so be sure to take some time to browse around!

Good luck. Went to DG last weekend in emergency need of flip-flops, which happened to be buy one get one free. Of course, they didn’t ring up right and the cashier was clueless. She offered to get “someone” that “might” know…….but hardly seemed like she cared one way or the other. I was in a hurry, so I just paid and left. Not that I was out all that much money on the deal and we needed them at the moment anyway, it was the general lack of caring that bugged me.
My DG was actually great today, didnt get shoes or clothes but starter pots are 90% and some laundry is 60%!

FYI In the back of DG today I seen a Frozen display with tons Frozen party plates ,cups, and banners you could do a frozen themed party for about ten bucks with these items. They WERE NOT with the other party stuff but near buy in a separate display.
Picked up everything but the banner (store didn’t have) for my daughters birthday in December. They will not last long.

Went to DG yesterday since Tuesday is markdown day. I asked an employee if the 50% clearance was ringing up 75% off. She said no, but when it does go down in price she is going to buy everything on the table for herself. Her statement bothers me. I don’t know if I want to make a trip to that store in future. What do you think?
I have heard of this happening in many stores, the employee get to work and take advantage of the sale first.

I just went in lake city florida and they had quite a bit.. i got a dress, a pair of shoes and shorts for $6.00 thanks!
I found an athletic tank top that came with matching shorts part of yellow dot and some nice plus size light weight tank tops that you would wear another tank top underneath too.
I scored four really nice kids outfit sets (2 girl, 2 boy) for $15.06 total! Each one had a top and bottom. In fact, one of them even came with two batman shirts AND shorts! Thank you so much, Hip2Save! 🙂
Thank you so much! I definitely feel like I hit this one out of the park. I got 18 items (most were two piece sets) for $45. All but 1 was $3 or under.
All of mine were under $3.00 as well, except my own cardigan, and all two pieces. $1.50 estimated for a shirt and short each is not too shabby!
Colin and Kelly, thank y’all so much for this heads up. I don’t usually go to this store and I wouldn’t have if I didn’t know about the sale, but I was able to get many infant and toddler clothes for our nieces and nephews and even a cute cardigan for me. I didn’t expect to pay around $50 for everything going in there, but I know it is worth a lot more, so thank you, thank you, thank you.
