That’s what i was going to say, too.
Yes, it’s clearly stated in their new coupon policy that they will not accept coupons for more than the amount of the item.
This being a stack (manuf + store) might be doable. if the product was just on sale $1.99, using the $2 coupon wouldn’t work.
the walgreens coupon now changes the price of the item in their system instead of showing up on the receipt as a coupon. so it would change the price to $1.99 and the $2 will not work. i noticed this 2 weeks ago when i tried to do this with a b1g1 free coupon and a walgreens coupon. the walgreens coupon changed the price of the item so when the cashier scanned the b1g1 coupon it took off the new price of the item.
if you give the manuf coupon first, the walgreens coupon will usually go through. At least that has been my experience with stacking at walgreens since the register update.
Totally forgot about this program, at first I was doing it everyday then stop. Had 10600 pts so got my first $5gc. Thanks for the reminder.
What type of GC’s do they have?
I dont know yet, got an email saying that 3-4 wks will get another email were I will be choosing the gcard, hope target is one of the choices.
