I used the Post-It coupon on the $1.02 items the other day, the computer didn’t automatically take it but the cashier overrode it. They didn’t have the tape in our $1 spot 🙁

You can’t use 2 Target coupons on one product. Also, Target coupons often automatically reduce to the price of item at the register to not provide overage.

Can I use both of these coupons in one order? It states limit one coupon or offer per guest. Target coupons always confuse me.

Most targets will let you use up to 4 target coupons for the same item in the same transaction – so you could use 4 post it and 4 tape coupons if you get a good cashier
Thank you. I just got back from target. I played it safe and brought my son. The tape at our store wasn’t in the dollar section, it was in the stationary. Priced at $1.44, but rang up at $1.00. Sadly, I bought the last one. But I will print more coupons(we have 3 computers) and go back another time. The coupon doesn’t expire until 9/2

We found double roll in the dollar section, because in back2school section only one roll, but coupon just says scotch tape. Brought 2 of them, TOTALLY FREE!!!… No tax either!!!
On the post notes, only found those in Back2school section….many colors
Just a warning, I did this the other day and both coupons beeped. My cashier was very nice, but wanted to let everyone know in case you’re at a Target that doesn’t override.

My Meijer in MI won’t take target coupons. :0( I tried to use one and the cashier wouldn’t take it. She nicely suggested I go to customer service and they would not accept it either.
Mine neither. That’s why I’m happy to take my business across the street to Walmart. Much easier to save there. I think that’s why Target is losing lots of customers.
Target is losing customers to Walmart? Haha, that’s a good one. I can’t even compare the two. Walmart stores are horrible with coupons, they always have to read each coupon and give customers a hard time, cashiers are rude, they never!! say hello or goodbye whenever I shop there. The last 3 times I shopped there almost all their produce was stale, moldy and smelly. Stores are cluttered and lines are always long. My Target stores are amazing, so Walmart you suck!!!
My walmart is great. They are nice and i have never had any trouble with any coupons. I get overage with no trouble. You dont have to get mean online. Its only my opinion and you have yours, but you dont have to get mean. I dont really buy produce there so i dont know. I dont think their produce was ranked high, but whatever.
Both of my Walmarts are awful. Dirty, hard to find staff or help, often bad with coupons.
My Walmart is nasty as well. Floors are dirty, employees walk around with bad attitudes, and stock is limited. I try to avoid that store!

I just came back from Target and I didn’t look for the $1 2-pack of Scotch tape, so I’m not sure if they had it, but if anyone’s store doesn’t have them or is out, mine had single rolls with colored dispensers for $1.02 each in the back to school section. I got two of those for two cents each 🙂 And the coupons said “no product found” for me too, but the cashier knew I did fulfill the coupon requirement, so she allowed them.
I wasn’t able to take advantage of this at my target unfortunately. I couldn’t find the post-its, and I got the scotch tape but the coupon beeped and the cashier wouldn’t take it, even though I showed her that the coupon doesn’t have any dollar or variety requirement. I would have asked for a manager but my store is always a ZOO and there were a ton of people behind me. I also noticed when looking at my receipt she forgot to scan another one of my coupons as well….pretty sure she was new. Annoying though. I know I could go back but it was only 50c, just gonna let it go 🙂
I bought the scotch expressions tape with it. They were $2.99 buy 3 get 1 free. I used 3x $1 off Target coupons and the $5 off $10 Scotch expressions coupon so I paid $.97 for four rolls of tape that are regularly $2.99 each. My four year old loves tape right now and these are easy for him to rip.

Every year these coupons come out (for post its & scotch tape) the Target coupons ALWAYS beep!! Pick your cashier wisely!
Just got 2 packs of tape at Target for free! Used one from the school mailer, one printable. Both of them beeped but cashier knew I had gotten two packs and pushed them through!
I too had the mailer so I used both. I think only the printable ones beeped but the guy put it through. I also was able to use the $5 off $75 order coupon too.

I couldn’t find either of these items at my target no post it’s at all and the scotch tape wasn’t signed could only find single rolls at $1.44 a piece. Checked back to school and regular aisle.
Tape was in the Dollar Spot and the post its were in a bin with school supplies. HTH!

Just had the same issue at the Target here in Boise.
They are horrible about any and all coupons.
It beeped, so they said it has to match the picture on the coupon. Of course the Scotch tape one says tape or scissors and there are no scissors pictured, so their logic is sketchy at best.
Lol, I always find that funny. So if you bought scissors they would say it doesn’t match the picture of the tape?? 😛

AND it took 4 employees and a manager to help with the post it note coupons. 3 employees wouldn’t let me use the coupon, and one wanted me to pay 6 cents as a minimum charge. What?
Thankfully the manager said everything was fine and let me purchase for 2 cents each.

My store didn’t have the dollar spot tape and I was in need of tape. I got the 1 roll for .44. I was able to find and get the post it notes.
Mine beeped too. When I read the printed coupon (tape and Post It) it basically says on it ‘one per person, per visit’ which is why it beeps. I had a new but very nice cashier, and a manager who’d never seen these coupons before.
They let me get three tapes and three Post Its but I’m pretty sure it was because I also had a regular version of the coupons that said “up to 4 like coupons” on the back. If I didn’t have that they might have only let me use one of each printed. It came in a Target Back to School coupon book that I think I found in a magazine a while ago. Sorry, I can’t remember which one.
The square Post Its came to 2c each, I got one of the free double packs of shiny tape, and two of the single Magic Tapes that were back in school supplies for 2c each. Total was 10c.
the coupon does not beep b/c it says limit one per person, per visit. It beeps b/c it is coded incorrectly, and has been coded incorrectly the past few years.
the coupon for the tape beeped and the cashier said she couldn’t accept it because it was for $1 and the tape cant be free, if it were 1.02 like the post-it she could do it.

My Target wouldn’t override the tape because there is 2 in a pack! So disappointed!
I had the exact same experience this morning. Although on a previous trip, the two pack from the dollar section went through. I guess I will need to go to another Target.
Mine wouldn’t take the coupon because the tape was from the dollar spot….. and when i said it doesn’t say anything on the coupon about that her response was it’s a trial size….
