Does anyone know if these books expire at the end of the year or in September?
Our city’s is valid until December 2014, according to the website.
I looked at several coupons for my city and it looks like they expire 8/28?? Not a lot of time to use them.
When you print them from the internet you have one month to use it (which is why you are seeing August 28) most expire on 12/31.
December 31, 2014. 🙂
Read the FAQ on the website. It is auto renewal and there is a $5 cancellation fee for canceling PRIOR to receiving the 2015 book. Not cool. If you cancel after getting the 2015 book it is 7.95. I would like to do this but I can’t support companies that are so anti-consumer.
Wrong. I ordered a couple weeks ago when the deal was posted. There was NO mention of auto renewal. Someone posted the same concerns. I JUST called them to verify that I am in fact NOT enrolled in auto renewal. I am NOT. (FYI- I bought the book for $5, with the internet access I printed an $8 off an oil change. I got my money’s worth before the book even showed up). Also, most of mine expire on 12/31/2014.
I bought mine in May 2014 and called the same day to verify that I was not in auto-renewal. Now I’m in a big hassle trying to get them to refund my $30.00 charge on my bank statement. They tell me I have to wait to get the book and then return it for any credit. The book has not even shipped yet. The supervisor accused me of scamming the system when I bought the book. He said that I would not have gotten the book for the discount price ($15.00) without agreeing to the renewal. Nice guy, not! Buyer beware. They don’t tell the truth on the phone about the auto-renewal!
Thanks for the quick follow-up!
I have bought them in the past and though they are a good deal even this late in the year (if you eat out a lot), many if not most of them will expire way before December 31. I got suckered in before and let most of them expire thinking I had til Dec. 31. So just be aware.
You are right. So many of the coupons were for events that had already taken place.
I’ve bought them several times in the past & I want to say most of the coupons expired Nov 1st.
Is it posible to find out what coupons are in the book?
Yes.. if you check your local Walgreens or CVS. In store they display the local book around xmas thru march. These are closed out every year for about $5. I’ve bought several in the past, especially if I was traveling. Can be a good value…but not much to lose at $5.
