Do they give you a hard time when cancelling? that’s my only fear. some places make you jump through hoops.

      No name, not at all…

I found it particularly annoying to cancel. Also, one month the ‘skip this month’ button magically disappeared two days before it should have causing me to be charged anyway (even though I contacted them to skip the month anyway).

It took a month to finally get my refund because I had to wait for the package to come and then send it back! This is the perfect company to use a visa gift card for your credit card on file LOL

I found it really difficult to cancel. The number they provided simply rang and rang no matter what time of day or night I called (I tried multiple times). I had to do some digging around to get another number for them, and when they offered to transfer me to the cancellation number I was like NO! lol Anyways, it was a big hassle. I would not recommend using them. There are plenty of other companies with better quality nail polishes, and you don’t have to put up with the hassle of canceling.

I didn’t have a hard time canceling at all. I was put on hold for a little while, but the lady was super friendly. I also LOVE their products. No formaldehyde, made in the US, and they are just generally really great nail polish too. I would do it again if I could!

I cancelled and they didn’t give me a hard time at all.

Can you cancel before you receive your first box to just get the perk??

    • Kayla

That’s what I did. New boxes are sent out at the end of each month (selection closes on the 26th I believe) so be sure to cancel a day or two after you receive the perk box. Don’t call them at lunch time since they’re always super busy. When they asked me why I was cancelling I told them I just couldn’t afford it at this time.

They now have the option to cancel via email so it’s super easy to cancel

I cancelled my mom’s subscription in her behalf … And I had no issues at all. Although, I was also rectifying a technical issue with her account. The representative was able to handle both issues for me at the same time.

I’ve been a Julep Maven for a few months now and I will say I’m torn on the polish quality. Some polishes are superb … High shine with dense color saturation after just two coats. While others are “meh” and one was just awful … Thick and goopy. Overall, I will be canceling my subscription too though. I’ve bought gorgeous polishes in store, whether OPI or Sinful Colors for much less and great quality.

I canceled via email recently. I am pretty rough on my fingernails so I use clear coat but I use colored polish on my toes. I loved the polish at first. I used two different colors of the 7-8 bottles I had either from my Julep subscription or another beauty box I purchased. Let me just warn you.. Unless you change your polish every 5 days or so, it becomes adhered like the asphalt they pave the streets with. My toe nails will now take weeks to grow out, I am afraid to put ANY polish on them and there are 90 yo men in nursing homes with healthier looking toe nails. I was a mission to get the polish off both times and they will need “breathing” time. Ugh!

I really disliked these polishes. They chipped almost immediately which was not a good look. It’s a great concept and I loved the variety of colors but I just couldn’t justify the cost for such poor quality.

For anyone who wants to try out Julep and is worried about not being able to cancel the subscription, I have seen the polishes for $4.99 at tjmaxx.

I love the choice of colors, and I LOVE the products, especially the hand and foot scrubs and makeup. They have lots of sales and are somewhat expensive if you buy regularly, but I usually wait for good deals.
