Can someone please please explain to me how the B1G1 free items work with coupons?
For example at cvs you can use coupons for free items but what if you are using a coupon that is B1G1 free can I still use 2 $1/1 etc on both products?
I’m asking because last week the st. Ives deal could of been free if I used the 2/1 printable … But I didn’t see that posted on any blog so is it not ok to do that?
Some stores allow the use of 1 additional cents off coupon towards the one you are purchasing, as the bogo applies towards the free item. Collin doesn’t post scenarios like that as she feels bogos attach to both items. Sometimes coupons are coded to attach to both items and the register will not allow the cents off coupon towards the buy item. Or the coupon states in the fine print cannot be combined with any other coupon or offers, so you can’t use a cents off.
if you have a b1g1 sale at cvs, you can use either 2 dollar off coupons or 1 b1g1 coupon. you can’t use dollar off coupons with a b1g1 coupon on a pair of items. i hope that answered your question.
Last week, I was able to stack the $3 off $10 St Ives coupon with the Bogo coupon. This ended up making the St Ives free + tax after the EB. I scanned my rewards card last in order to get the full amount possible from the coupon (apparently I didn’t have to do that since it would have taken off even with the Bogo 50% off sale). Sometimes you can stack additional coupons and the system will take them but it really just depends.
Did anyone have luck printing the $1 Sparkle paper towels coupon? I’ve tried multiple times from 3 computers over the last two days, on two different links. Can’t get any to work.

If you use KFR points for the cereal deal, you can actually print the coupon you buy twice per purchase.
I have a coupon usage question. I want to do the Schick razor ECB deal. The CVS I shop often accepts expired CVS coupon. Each razor is priced at $12.99. I have two $4 off $12 any razor, one 25% off any razors purchase expired CVS coupons and two $4 off 1 razor MCF coupons. If I get two razors, can I use all five coupons?
Is the razor price the regular price? If so, then yes. Don’t forget, the 25%would come off after the 4 off 12 coupon.
The registers won’t take an expired %off coupon. The salesperson can punch in an expired $off coupon but the other is pretty impossible. Good luck tho! Let us know if the register took it 🙂
My stores take expired cvs coupons up to two weeks after exp date. The register automatically takes them without any problems.
I’ve only had a % off coupon taken off once expired, but it required the use of a calculator and was only allowed because my stores registers were down on the last day of the coupon. Then we manually entered it as a $ off.
Can you use a 30% off and 25% off coupon together at CVS? I got a 30% off to load to my card via email and a 25% off coupon in the mail. They’re valid pretty much the same dates.
I wouldn’t recommend it. Plus, I think the fine print says you can only use one “percent off” coupon.
I did this the other day–one coupon was send-to-card and the other was a paper coupon–and I’m not sure what happened, but they were BOTH applied and I ended up paying more than I expected. I studied the receipt and couldn’t figure out what happened, so I just returned everything.
So if you’re curious to see what happens, go for it, but be warned :)…Also, since your send-to-card is 30%, I’d recommend you stick with that one just in case–because you probably can’t get it back.
You can, but what happens is one of the % off coupons will prorate the other’s deductions. You won’t get 55% off total. I would split your transaction into 2, so you get the max of both discounts.
I’ve done this dozens of times. It requires a lot of math. If your doing this, you have to add up all reg retail items then deduct any store crts, beauty bucks, and any force print ecbs, then multiply by the highest %, then the lower %, to get your total. Then deduct manufacturers coupons. Make sure your total is not negative, it will make the register go crazy. If you do It right, you’ll end up with an awesome deal. Make sure to take advantage if ecb offers on reg. price items. 🙂 hth!!
That would be interesting to see if that works. If it doesn’t work and they void the transaction, your Qs will be marked in their system as used.

You will need to read the fine print, usually the $/$$ will say only one per transaction. My store will let me use several $/$$ in one transaction, but only if I meet each purchase requirement. If I had both those coupons, I’d need $22 in product.
How about a $/$$ and just a $ off one? I have a $3 off Revlon lip. Can I combine it with the $4/$12 make up one if I have 2 Revlon lip products. For example, I want to get 2 super lustrous lipstick this week, one at $8.99 and one at 50% = 4.5 and use 2 of the coupons above plus 2 of the $2/Revlon lipstick MQs making my total = 2.49 for both?

– 2 $1/1 Sparkle MFQs and 1 $1/2 quilted northern MFQ.
-Paid 18.40 oop, received $5 ECB
Second Transaction – one Maybelline dreamlume highlighter, one Maybelline mascara, and two Ban cooling cloths.
-Used $4/12 cosmetics purchase from the magic coupon machine
-Used $3/1 Maybelline face product MFQ and $2/1 any Maybelline New York mascara
-Used BOGO free Ban cloths MFQ
-Used $5 ECB from first transaction
-Paid $1.32 for all 4 products!
Total paid 19.72 for 18 rolls of TP, 16 rolls of paper towels, mascara, concealer, and two ban cloths. What a fantastic deal! I am loving these high value MFQs, thanks again for sharing!
How does th Magic Coupon Machine work? Do you just scan ur rewards card there to see if there are coupons before you start shopping?
you just scan your CVS card at the red kiosk at the front of the store and it will print coupons (it is also the price checker). Make sure to keep scanning your card until it tells you to come back tomorrow. Sometimes I scan my card 3 or 4 times and coupons spit out!

Will it be problematic if I used cvs ecb to pay for this with regards to getting a rebate for the All laundry detergent? It comes up on the receipt as cvs coupon so my oop would be tax because I have $20 in ecb? Or should I just pay cash?

Had a great trip last night at cvs but I had to use more ecbs than I planned. Everything was going good. I saw the 30%off qpon “pending” and it showed the amount that would be taken off. I bought hair color and deodorant that wasn’t on sale. The store was closing and I didn’t notice that NONE of the items had 30% off!!! Grrrr!!
I’m not sure what 30% coupon you’re talking about, but the same thing happened to me. I had a send-to-card coupon for 30% off and I saw it was “unused” on my receipt. I went back in and the manager manually added up what wasn’t on sale then returned 30% to me. I went in the same day and the cashier insisted that she DID apply the coupon and didn’t know why it wasn’t applied. I also used a lot of “discounts” including two computer-printed extrabucks (for my original transaction, the manager had to be called for a $15 reward I got for doing a survey because it wasn’t accepted at first or was taking a long time “pending”).
I think in the end I was even shorted a few dollars. I’m glad I checked my receipt at least.
I went and bought the Ban cooling wipes with 2 of the BOGO free coupons and before I checked out, I printed my coupons from the machine and I got a coupon for $1.50 off any $5 deodorant purchase! And they were BOGO 50% off! I ended up paying $2.73 total for 4 of the cooling wipes, which normally cost 3.59 each! Thank you so much! 86% savings!
