Although this is a good price, I have found this size box at Big Lots for $8. Worth checking out if you’re there.

Had a 4.81 gift card balance…so 9.46!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! This has become my new fave snack, along with the Cliff choc. chip cookie soft bars, but I usually pay about $1/bar, so this is a good deal! Thanks Collin!

These are great for convenience, but I make these all the time by putting dates and peanuts in the food processor. We eat a whole food, plant based diet and our extended family is not so much. I make these into little balls and seem to be a perfect compromise at family get togethers. I do love Larabars, but they seem so expensive when you look at what you can make yourself! These are great for travel though!

I would like the recipe you use if possible. I’ve tried to make some and they haven’t turned out very good. Do you pre-soak the dates before you put them in your food processor? Thanks!

Especially since my son has a tree-nut allergy, but peanuts are ok for him 🙂

Sorry, just saw this! 2 cups dates or raisins (no need to soak) 2 cups peanuts and blend until it’s able to be balled up. I also add cacao nibs, but you could easily add chocolate chips too if you want.

            Thanks!
