Not sure what’s going on with Walmart…
when the recent $1 off one pack…
and Buy One Get One Four Roll pack Free up to $2 coupons came out, Walmart near me no longer have the Four Roll packs on the shelf. Not sure why they stopped stocking that size. Ridiculous considering only their stores carry the White Cloud brand.
Anyone else noticed this?
i dont regularly go to walmart but one of our walmarts didnt sell the 4 roll at all. i thought it was strange too and was about to trash the bogo coupon. then few weeks l8r, i went to another walmart in the same county and they had the 4 roll. so i guess it varies store to store. But yea, i agree it is quite silly that they dont stock the 4 roll considering walmart is sole seller of the product.
They were stocking it until a few weeks ago. I used this coupon when it came out last month. They gave me trouble at the register, saying they don’t “do buy 1 get 1 coupons” and I said, “Well you must, because you’re the only store that sells this brand.”
And then I went back to get the deal again 3 days later and the space for the 4 roll size was cleared. I have to wonder if they’re clearing it because they don’t like the coupon.
I personally think that when the store finds out there are coupons on certain items, they deliberately take that item off the shelf. Or, they boost up the price, so in essence, you are not getting a bargain even with a coupon. 🙁
I agree, they do that at my local Target I have been there looking for the items on sale/coupons in the early morning of the first day of the sale only to find the shelves empty 🙁
I couldn’t find the 4 roll packs at my walmart the last time this coupon was available. It doesn’t expire until next month so I keep checking but no luck so far.
I found plenty here on San Antonio. They are pretty good about coupons here. Thankfully, because Walmart and Target are the only stores around here where you can use free coupons. Anybody know what the 16 roll pack costs?
Check to see if there is a place for them — Look for the pricing sticker. When the last coupon came out I went to my local Walmart and the shelf was empty, but there was a place for them. I think couponers had cleared the stock. I was patient and on my last trip to Walmart I was able to get them! And I had NO problems checking out with the coupon. Great deal! 🙂
I had the same issue with my WalMart not stocking the toilet paper but went last week and the shelf was full!!! I use the self check out so I don’t have to hassle with the cashiers looking at my coupons thinking I doing something wrong, never had any problem with the self check and has read everyone of my coupons perfectly.
Our walmart posted signs that coupons were not working on the self checkout machines. I think enough people complained because now you can use coupons on those machines. I hated waiting in line when I only had one coupon. I ended up just not buying the item or buying it somewhere else.

I have no clue why they have problems with coupons. I know they cant see in the future that there will be a coupon that could possibly clear the shelf. I don’t know if ordering more or shipment time is a factor in it..but I do know they get their money back with the coupon sooooooo….whats the problem? Its simply a win-win! You get a deal..they sell..they get paid back..plus what.. .08 cents each on top of it? Luckily I didn’t have any problems and the coupon came right off. Shelf had plenty..but I did, however, at Walmart the other day get held up In line to search ALL MY BAGS to check and see if I indeed bought 6 Yoplait yogurts and one bag stick cheese to use my $2.40 cents in coupons lol.
That’s exactly my thought! Why do stores make such a hassle about coupons? If they’re manufacture they GET THE MONEY BACK and if it’s a store, they put it out anyway so they should expect people to use them. Walmart is the worst! Cashiers act like it’s coming out of their paycheck or something.
If you use the coupon from last weekends newspaper insert and print the coupon from the white cloud facebook page (free 4 pack when you buy any size white cloud product) you can get 8 rolls for 97 cents, when you buy two 4 roll packs. I did this earlier today and it worked for me (Palm Coast, FL)
