The Nivea Men shaving cream @ $3.17, $1 mfr coupon and $1 target coupon is a great addition to these deal scenarios.

  5. Amy

  6. Kelly Grant

FYI I live in NC and the Degree deodorant with Motionsense is up to 3.99

Not to be a “debbie downer” but that apricot scrub is the WORST thing you could ever do do your skin!! Trust me please, I’m an esthetician! I really do love a great deal but if there’s one product I highly recommend everyone throw in the trash and/or NEVER use, it’s that one! It’s very damaging to your skin! Sorry for any let downs, I just really care about people and helping them achieve beautiful skin! I really do LOVE this site and finding the best deals!

    • Laura

I’m with you on this one Kelly

    • mich

Hi, do you mind explaining why? I see some people online saying the same thing but I never really see them say why it’s bad. Tia

      • Mel

I use it as an exfoliant for my legs before shaving, not on my face. Your face is delicate and you should never use a harsh abrasive to scrub your face.

      • shopper

They crush the apricot core which makes jagged, rough, sharp pieces which cause micro tears in the skin.
An exfoliator should have round particles in it. I use Origins modern friction which is rice, but gentle. Or you can use a chemical exfoliator.

        • mich

Does it mean its bad for all skin? I use it on my back and I use the green tea st.ives for my face.

          • shopper

All their products bad, probably not. Apricot bad for body skin, I would just be careful. The face is has thinner skin compared to the body. I’ve seen, on other boards, people wondering why their skin hurts after using the apricot for awhile.

        • Kelly

Shopper and Mel are right. Products such as the apricot scrub are definitely much too harsh for the face. Your skin is so delicate, and with this one it’s like using shards on your skin. I recommend exfoliating twice a week (and no more, otherwise you’ll over process), but with something non-abrasive. Chemical exfoliants work very well i.e. Alpha/beta hydrodxy acids – glycolic, salicylic, & lactic, which are naturally sourced. They do a great job dissolving dead skin and impurities causing clogging. I use Murad’s AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser, it has a combo of both manual (finely polished jojoba beads) and chemical exfoliants. As for the body, scrubs like sugar or salt based are great.
Glad to see other positive and helpful feedback here on this topic, thanks ladies!

          • Mellissa

Thanks for all your insight Kelly. I have noticed that it is quite abrasive. Honestly, I used to use it on my feet … works great on dry heels. LOL

    • Arianne

Oh my gosh, I love this stuff! I would’ve never guessed it could be bad.
Is it the exfoliation that’s bad?

      • Kristen

I do too! When I first put it on, I was like is this sand?? But when I washed it off, my face was SO soft!!! I absolutely love this stuff!!

  8. Karen

Kelly, is there any product you recommend instead? Because I use St. Ives scrub all the time and don’t want to ruin my skin

  9. Mar

Kinda off topic but the $2/$10 beauty coupon didn’t give any problem. What gave me a problem was the $3/$15 apparel mossimo xhilaration merona mobile coupon. The cashier scanned again and it didn’t go thru and I had well over $50 worth for that coupon to work. Customer service handled it though.

  10. Ann

I’ve been using the apricot scrub for 11 years and my skin looks great. Maybe I am just blessed with tough skin though. I have also heard it is bad for your skin so I switched to St. Ives microbead scrub since it’s more gentle. I love St. Ives so much.

SO….. Question for everyone. I stopped shopping at Target after the scandal last year. I s it worth it to go back?
    SOMEONE HELP!!!!!! PLease.

    • Eve

Scandal? The breach? It could happen to any retailer at any time. No reason to not shop at Target.

  12. mea6103

My $2/$10 did not work, but they fixed it for dry hair shampoo and deodorant.

    • mich

Do you mind telling me what you bought? I’m looking for some dry shampoo and I don’t want to spend too much trying something that I don’t know how it works. 🙂

      • Jen D

        Mich,

I have tried a few brands and I love the Dove dry shampoo! It is also $3.94 like the hairspray pictured above, and you can use the $1.50/1 coupon for it and it should also be included in the $5 GC deal. I have had issues with other inexpensive brands (I’ve tried Suave and Pssst) clogging up at the nozzle after just a few uses but I don’t have that issue with the Dove. I also really like how it smells – it’s a little fresher and not as much of a “baby powder” smell as some of the other brands I have tried.
        Hope that helps 🙂

        • mich

Thanks! Although strangely I didn’t get the coupon in the rp. I’ll just ask my friends if they have some. 😉

        • Michelle

Got2rocking dry shampoo works awesome for me

  13. Denise

I assume tampons are considered ‘personal care’….does anyone know for sure?? My Target has ‘buy 3 playtex, get $5’ I wanted to use it on.

  14. Anne

My cashier scanned the $2/$10 mobile Q and it didn’t take off anything the first time, so he scanned it again and it went through the second time. I bought St. Ives. Hope this helps!

    • S

But after the 2 off 10 coupon total would be under $10, can you still use 3 off 10 man coupon? TIA

      • Anne

Oops, sorry, should have clarified, I used the $2/$10 in a transaction with the St. Ives lotions some shampoo, used the B1G1 free MQ, not the $3/$10 🙂

  15. mich

Wow, I just came back from target. When I think of “prices may vary from region”, I think maybe a couple of cents, but my target has the st.ives for 4.19!! I wish they would have been at least under 4, but that’s just me dreaming. 🙁
