I bought one of these the last time Collin posted and it is AWESOME! I use it all the time and works great!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! So happy you love it! 🙂

  2. Fonzy

Bought this at walmart last year for 24.97!

  3. Kim

Woohoo! I’ve been looking at this for weeks, debating getting it for school. 🙂

  4. Rich

I bought one of these two years ago when Amazon discounted them – great tool!

I would agree! I have this machine as well, and it is consistent and even heating. It seals well even with 2 sheets in one pouch. It does not do those heat wrinkles on a laminating pouch. I home school and we use it a lot. This machine is a trooper.

what age did you start homeschooling your little ones? I am so interested in finding out curriculum for pre K.

      • Jessie

I homeschool my 3rd and 1st grade girls. We love A Beka and Sonlight. Both have great pre-k materials. Also, check out the blog Confessions of a Homeschooler. Lots of great resources there! Good luck! Homeschooling is awesome!

  6. Gabrielle

Both of these are great prices since the 50 pak at Walmart is 9.99! I ordered the 5×7 too!

As others have said, great product. I’m a scrapbooker and use it for tons of projects. Consider this if you are a scrapper or need a Christmas gift for a scrapper!

    • Melissa

Sarah, how do you use it for scrapbooking?

  8. Melissa S

You can use a coupon and get them at Joanns for under 10 dollars. I think I spent 8 last year on a pack. I’m always stocked up:)

    • Christina

Please be more specific, Melissa. Thanks!!!

  9. Jodi L

I bought it 2 years ago, on one of Collin’s deals. I haven’t used it yet. Can anyone give me some ideas what to use it for? Thanks! (I have teens, but love craft stuff!)

    • Susi

I have laminated all sizes of pictures, get a roll of magnetic tape & put a few small strips on back and hang them on the fridge! My daughters loved
Them so much, I had to make them a bunch as we’ll.

    • Mgat5

I went crazy and laminated our candy land game cards… 🙂

      • Suzanne

        LOL Mgat5!!

      • Jessica

Actually super smart. No more ruined game cards!!!!

  10. Kathleen

Thanks for posting this!! I’ve been wanting to get a laminator for ages but was put off by cost and unsure if quality.

    • nicolegammeter

      You’re welcome, Kathleen! 🙂

I just bought and excited. I have been considering getting one and for this price can’t resist!!

  12. AC

we lamanate the letters so my kids can use wipe off makers on them. saves on the cost of paper.

  13. Hilary

Amazon sells their own brand of laminating sheets and I just purchased a pack of 100 at that same price just last week. With school start-up, I think I’m already through about half of them! My laminator is the best $20 I ever spent at Wal-Mart!

  14. Erica

I got this one two years ago and its awesome!

  15. I Love Shoes

I purchased this the last time Collin posted this deal. I believe it was a year or two ago. I use the machine a lot in my classroom. It is tough. I travel with it back and forth to school and home. Sometimes it will stay in my car for a few days, or I will store it in the garage during school breaks. Even from dropping it a few times, this product still works like it just came out of the box…Also, I found two of the same items at Walgreens for the same price earlier this year. I got them pretty much free after points and register rewards.

Quick question for anyone that has the laminating sheets the size of paper. Can you laminate smaller items in the larger sheet or do I have to buy the correct size laminating sheet for smaller photos, etc?

    • Hilary

Nope, just lay them all out and run it through. Make sure none of them touch and you have room to cut around each item. I can fit three class name tags in a 8 1/2×11 sheet. 🙂

    • Chris

You can put several smal things in one paper size lam pouch. For instance some one said earlier they laminated their candy land cards, you can put several cards in one pouch. Make sure you have space between to cut out and for the items to seal. It doesn’t take much space between for them to seal properly. If you cut things out all the way to the edge the laminating is no longer water/moisture proof, but if that’s not an important issue for a project, trimming it up to the edge is fine. When you put lots of little things in a pouch, just hold the pouch tight and closed as you put it into the machine so things don’t shift on you and accidentally over lap. I hope this makes sense and helps.:)

      • Maria

Thank you everyone for your response. I picked up laminator and two packs of the pouches!! I think my family will enjoy this machine!

  17. Barb

These are $19.99 everyday price at Walmart, not sure why its listed as $80.49 regular price. Amazon tends to inflat prices so you think you are getting a huge savings. Although it’s still a little bit cheaper through amazon (no tax and ships to your door) is great, but I almost pulled the trigger on this because I thought I would be saving $50, but I think I might try to get one at JoAnns or Micheals with a coupon if that’s an everyday price.

    • Jessica

They are two different machines. Look at the full model numbers.

  18. Bethany

This laminator is awesome. I am a 2nd grade teacher and use it all the time. However, I just buy the 200 pack of laminating sheets at Sam’s Club for $21.00. They work great and are a lot cheaper than the Scott’s ones. (FYI, they are a little bit thinner but we have had no issues with them)

  19. Andrea

I’m so excited. Now I can laminate my canning recipes!!!

  20. Brandi J

Just bought one for my office. Super Excited. Thanks for the tip.

  21. Hailey

My Office Depot carries these and they price match to amazon so I’m hoping to get mine today after work 🙂

  22. Heather

I’m with Barb. $19.97 at Walmart! Same model numbers too!

  23. Colleen Madden Jefferys

Pouches not on special? Found no name for less. Excited!
