What a cool idea! Does anyone know how much it costs to make, for example, one yard of custom fabric? If I understand correctly one can make custom wallpaper, wrapping paper or fabric? So if I wanted a bag I would have to make it with the fabric? Still a cool idea!

    • Lolita

I found their prices at their FAQ section πŸ™‚

    • Kelly S

Prices start at about $17 for a yard of fabric, you can either design your own or order a design someone else uploaded. I think there is a discount if you design your own fabric. I ordered 2 yards of my own design to use as a background for my daughter’s 1st birthday pictures and the quality is great. I’m going to use it in a quilt for her now.

    …And the website already crashed.

  3. summer

  4. alicia

They have a “frozen” design also!!!!

  5. Lisa S

Thanks, Colin! Got my order confirmation email πŸ˜€

  6. Shanelle Sundin

The website is over loaded right now πŸ™

  7. Lej

So many great designs on that site!

  8. Sandy

I am confused if you get the 8X8 sample you will only be able to make a small pencil case correct? 8” by 8”?

    • Christi

you could use the swatch as the front of the pouch and use a plain color on the back. Or make a little pillow for a child.

  9. Karatemom91

Yay! Just refresh if you have trouble. Just got one! πŸ˜ƒ

  10. amanda

What could I do with an 8×8 sample?

    • paintfrog

I’m going to make a pillow out of mine.

    • Melissa

Frame it or use in a shadow box as a background. I found a cute horse print to frame for my daughters’ playroom.

  11. Christi

    That was easy, thanks Collin!

  12. AnnieD

Thank You, I chose the Bird pattern, I need to cover a small heat pad that you warm in the microwave this is perfect.

  13. Geegle

How to add it to cart?

    • Tarri

I did a search of a design I wanted, then clicked on the design and it gave option for swatch.

  14. sara

ummm this is really dumb to ask…. but what really is this can someone explain?
    what is a swatch?

    • Natasha

a swatch is a sample piece of fabric it is only 8×8, you know those paint things at the store that are just a small piece of paper with the paint color? that is a paint swatch so a fabric swatch is just a sample piece of fabric! Does that make sense? lol

  15. Cathy

Why it shows $1 for standard shipping

  16. Jennifer

It’s an 8×8 inch peice of fabric that has a design of your choice on it. I am using mine to cut into a circle, get child’s initials embroidered on, then sew to the back of a jacket but possibilities are endless.

    • Christi

I like that idea! You could also frame the swatch! Easy wall art!

      • Tarri

I thought about doing this also.

  17. Tarri

    Thanks, ordered the cupcake one.

  18. samantha g.

How do you get the swatch for free? It is showing my total as $6.00 ($5.00 for swatch plus $1.00 shipping).

    • Holly

      Mine too

      • Holly

Figured out what I was doing wrong, you have to just select the fabric and hit the “Go For It” Button, don’t use the add to cart.

      • samantha g.

I see how to do it now. When you are on the screen showing the swatch you want, click on the GET YOUR FREE ECO CANVAS SWATCH GO FOR IT BUTTON and it will add the swatch to your cart as your FREE item!

        • Cathy

          Thanks, I just got one

  19. SamanthaRey

just ordered a purple circle pattern – i’ll be using it to make a fabric insert for my customizable coffee mug.

  20. Val

When I hit the GO FOR IT button, nothing happens.

    • Kam

I had this problem too. If you are trying to make a custom swatch, add a random swatch to your cart first and log in. You can now remove that swatch and add a custom one. The GO FOR IT button should work now.

      • Trish

        Thanks Kam…it worked πŸ™‚

    • Trish

      Same here

  21. Suzanne H

I’ve had an idea for a craft project for a while and I think the fabric I found is perfect. I am going to try to stencil on top of the fabric and frame it for my hubby for Xmas – hope it works out! Thanks.

  22. Nicole

Just got the Legos Minifigure fabric – I’m going to make it into luggage and backpack name tags for my Lego obsessed son! Awesome!

  23. Tara

What an awesome freebie. I love the idea of framing it! Thank you so much.

  24. Kam

This was great! I made a custom swatch using my child’s drawings. I used GIMP to make the collage.

  25. Tara

    Fun! Thanks!

  26. Yoli

    Thanks Collin!

  27. B

Whenever I add a photo, then it takes me back to the page before and won’t let me upload or finish the order. Anyone else?

  28. Lauren

That was super easy! I’m gonna use someone else’s suggestions of framing the fabric πŸ™‚

  29. RB

Cannot wait for this to get here…I ordered a vintage print with Valentines cards motif that I’m going to use to line the box in which I save nostalgic greeting cards.

  30. elise

I didn’t think it was working. Hit the go for it a bunch of times, then just went a created an account and there were 7 in my cart. :p I uploaded a photo, will probably make in into a pillow.

  31. Gigi

Thanks! I am going to make a zippered pencil pouch to go in my daughter’s binder, I will use a coordinating fabric for the back πŸ™‚

  32. Mrs. W
