Ok, dumb question here, but I have never tasted a Slim Jim. Does the regular flavor taste like salami or beef jerky or what? I was raised by vegetarian parents and only began eating meat a little while ago.
Personally, the flavor reminds me more of pepperoni. It’s definitely not a typical “beef jerky” flavor … More spiciness, like pepperoni. Hope that helps. :]
They don’t taste like salami or jerky. My advise for you would be to go to your local store and try one. They are around $1.50. I would hate for you to not like them and waste all that money.

If you check your Subscribe & Save item page to see the last date you can order for August. My last date to adjust order is every 21st and I get the S&S package by 28th. Look around Amazon S&S stuff to add 4 more items to get total of extra 15% or 20% discount. I always like to check Amazon’s coupon page.
I ran across the coupon by accident last week, paid $15.12 as a one time shipment. Great for the kids’ lunches or snacks… plus for momma to snack on with pretzels and cheese:) They are the smaller ones, perfect snack size…. the package itself measures 5″ long and the slim jim is 3 1/2″ long.
