Thanks Collin, I always use these to conquer bushels of laundry!

    • Kath

Great idea Jess I have some bushels of laundry myself today.

  2. Deanna Z

Just tried this at Kroger in Sugar Land TX and it said code valid in certain locations, so it did not work

  3. Kaylene

Has anyone else noticed they raised their prices again? In Utah, it went from $1.20 to $1.60 after tax! crazy!

    • Kaylene

and $2.00 a night for bluerays!

  4. Melanie

Thankyou Im loving free movie nights

  5. Kaylene

So because it only takes $1.20 off, and DVDs now cost me $1.50, it makes them $0.32, not free 🙁

    • marie

      Then go to the library.

      • H

Not all library’s are free. Our library charges $2 a movie. I’ve noticed lately that more and more people are posting negative responses to what other people say. Keep it positive or don’t say anything at all!

        • e

I think Marie’s comment was helpful. H how is your comment positive or helpful?

        • marie

Sorry, did not mean for the comment to come off as negative or not positive. But if someone is looking for totally “free” and no charge for a DVD or Blu Ray then the only place I know is the library. Unless you can borrow from a friend, relative or neighbor. And sorry I did not realize libraries charged for movies because none of mine do unless it is a late fee. Have a nice day.

        • Kaylene

Thank you H – I wasn’t complaining I was just stating that this deal is not a freebie for me and wanted to tell others it might not be a freebie for them either.

    • Allison

Thanks for the great idea. My 8 year old son has had a rough second week at school and this would be a great pick me up for him!

  9. Justina

Worked fine for me in NYC and DVDs here still only cost $1.20!

  10. Asmtih

  11. Cheryl

  12. Glenna

Worked at my local redbox and they are still only $1.20 so free movie for me 🙂

  13. May

They changed the price to $1.35 around this area. It’s not free.
I take the price different on each location?

    • R

It worked as an online reservation for me. I hope that’s helpful.

  14. Angela

Tries both. Works for online RSVP but doesn’t work at kiosk so reserved at the store with my smart phone!

  15. farrah warren

Worked on online reservation in Birmingham Alabama!

    • tiffany

  17. suzy

    Thanks Colin.. ur awesome!!!!

  18. Kay

I have noticed that the redbox freebies often don’t work in my area if I go straight to the redbox kiosk. However, I have found that if I reserve online it will work at any redbox kiosk. So now I always just reserve first so I don’t have to deal with the kiosk hassle. HTH

    • steph

That is what I also did here in Ohio. Saves time also since you can see if what you want is available. Code also worked! Thanks Collin!

  19. Emily

Doesn’t work at Walgreens in so. Utah. Does anyone know where it works?

    • Mindy

I’m In Utah and it worked from my smartphone Redbox app. Cost me $.32 though, so not necessarily free because the cost in Utah is $1.50/DVD

    • jostlen

Didn’t work for me at Walgreens in Atlanta GA

  20. cindy

Was able to reserve for free in Houston , Tx

  21. J23P

Did not work in store at Hannaford Supermarket

  22. paintfrog

Worked fine when I reserved a movie online. I like reserving movies online anyway because I know for sure that movie will be there when I go and pick it up. Only once did I encounter a problem when the Redbox I needed to go to wasn’t working correctly. A quick call to their service and they gave me two free blu-ray rental codes for my trouble. 🙂

  23. Elaine

Question from a newbie… If I sign up for a new redbox acct, can I use the free codes? I don’t want to sign up for the monthly $8 but I would love to use these great freebie codes. Thanks for any help.

    • Sam

You don’t need to sign up for the $8/month to use the free code.

  24. Paul

Did not work, at my local Walmart. But, they were still priced at $1.20, for dvd’s. I was at Walmart, anyway. So, no big deal. But, i’m going to pass on trying to reserve online. I have quite a bit of stuff I haven’t gotten around to watching yet, anyway. As it is, i’ve only watched last seasons premiere of “Big Bang Theory”. I avoid spoilers, of a lot of shows and movies, like the plague – LOL.

  25. Alissa S

This code worked for me to reserve online for a FREE movie to pick up at my local McDonald’s. We love northwest of Houston, TX.

  26. Patty

I got a code today for a BOGO. I used it. Not sure if it can be used again but here it is: 7856TTHH

  27. Jessica

It worked for me online and was totally free! Thanks Collin!

  28. Emmy

Just an FYI – you can reserve up to 5 movies using this code- just make sure you reserve them online and do a separate transaction for each one- when you go to the kiosk, swipe your CC and you can pick them all up at once !

  29. Stacey

Since people have been having issues at some locations, I reserved mine online just to make sure I wasn’t wasting a trip to the store. Worked liked a charm! Thanks!

  30. Amberly
