Mark your calendars! If you live near a Whole Foods Market, you may be interested to know that select locations are hosting a Moms Meet event during the week of September 22nd–28th, 2014 (at various dates and times)! The event is designed to teach you how to effectively shop your own local store for family-friendly organics on a budget. Even sweeter, all attendees will also receive a goody bag, courtesy of their sponsors (such as Applegate, HappyFamily, Kiwi, Plum Organics, and more!). Sounds good to me! πŸ™‚

  3. Ree

Aww, just read that we can’t bring the kiddos…

    • Yay

That’s interesting because mine said that it is a family friendly event and that the kiddos are welcome.

      • brandice

Certain locations will allow kids if a,bigger store.
In Atlanta no kids at Ponce location, but kids welcomed at Briarcliff location

  4. Lori

My Whole Foods hosts really nice events for several holidays. They are always generous with samples and activities for the kids too! I signed up for this one too.

  5. Lori

My location says bring the kiddos! That must vary with location

    • MiisVegas

Mine also said the kiddos are more than welcome to attend with you.

      Thank you Collin!

  8. Linda

Darn, can’t bring the littles in Mt Pleasant, SC! Aren’t they the reason I AM a mom? πŸ˜‰

    • Holly

I know. Just looked at Mt Pleasant too. They should at least have it on a weekend then.

  9. Roy

    no events in FL

  10. OhioGirl

Nothing in Ohio. Would love this πŸ™

  11. Sandra

Signed up for the one in Santa Barbara! It was the only one that fell on the weekend. There is no way I could bring my son to this, he would be totally bored. If they gave out toy trucks I think he would be fine πŸ˜‰

  12. Wendy

Thanks! Never been to these events before.. Are husbands allowed to come along with the children??

    • Jaime

My store said moms, dads, and kids….but i now see that select stores aren’t welcoming kids. I’d click on the one you’re interested in, then call or email the person in charge to find out. There’s a contact listed for each location

      • Wendy

        Thanks!

Not to be a pain but I wonder if they would be open to having divorced ladies with no children who prefer kiddo food to grown-up meals. I would guess that singles vs. married folks are a 50/50 split at my store. Lots of young professionals (most of which are probably single), college students and seniors make up a good part of the crowd.

  14. Stephanie

Sad to see there are no events in Illinois. Since Chicago is such a large city it is surprising there are none in the entire state.

  15. KP

I’m soooooo excited about this! I know, I’m pretty pathetic. We love whole foods, but I try not to go too often-just too expensive….partly because my three girls and I have to eat lunch there when we go πŸ™‚

  16. suzy

Our whole foods does that if u just ask for a tour and you get a free goodie bag:).

  17. BETSY

That’s cool Suzy – do you know what kinds/amounts of samples they include? Thanks!

    • Laraine

I received lots of store info, kid juices/applesauce, etc. pouches, a bandana and KIWI magazine,

This was great! After learning all about organics and tasting a lot of selections we received a bag of goodies and a $10 gift certificate. I bought bacon, some protein seeds for my shakes, coconut milk creamer and soup.
