Screen Shot 2014-08-30 at 2.01.32 PMHi Collin! Carter’s is offering up 50% off everything! And, you can score an extra 25% off! I found this kids clothing set on sale for $12 (originally $32) plus 25% off making it $9.99! It was from the limited edition crab collection. I figure the hoodie could be used all year around in CA, shorts with any other shirt or onesie. 🙂 [/h2s_box]

(Thanks, Pooja!)

Code isn’t working for me and I have over the $50 limit, no clearance items.

Same here…It’s not taking off 25%. My subtotal is 144 and it’s only discounting 13 dollars. It should be more than 25 off!

      • Lisa Langley

“Coupon not valid on clearance OR doorbuster specials.” Almost everything says it’s a doorbuster special since they are doing the 50% sale. Therefore, the 25% off really doesn’t work.

    • Elise

Make sure items aren’t on clearance nor doorbusters.

The thing i love about carters, so long as you save your receipt, you can return unused things. Great if you get deals and then your kiddos don’t end up fitting into them.

    • Helen

You can return almost anything in the world with a receipt, lol! That’s not special treatment…..that’s normal.

      • Kristie

There’s no time limit. I returned something I bought over a year ago. Not many stores do that.

  3. Sheila

Is it just me or has the quality of their material gotten so flimsy & cheap?!

    • Rachel

Noticed that too- I get gap outlet 50% off and it will last the whole season, and then still be in great condition for the next child wearing it. Carter’s stuff usually doesn’t make it one season.

      • Helen

I agree and the sizing is off most of the t shirts I bought for summer will be rags soon, the quality is comparable to Walmart which I call disposable clothing!

    • Vanessa

I agree Sheila, their quality is not what it used to be.
Also, with all the stackable coupons at Kohls it usually works out cheaper to buy Carter’s clothing from Kohl’s rather than the actual Carter’s store.

Sheila, I agree with you completely. Their prices have gone way up, you can’t use coupons on the clearance items and the quality is junk compared to what it used to be. I have 3 boys and the difference between the first and the last, 5 years apart, is so noticeable it’s crazy. No longer a Carters fan here:(

How was the deal in the picture done by a reader able to work then? She stated she used the coupon? Maybe you can only use the coupon in store?

    • sara

It worked because it wasn’t clearance or a door butter item. It was on sale which is valid.

Sears has 50% off carters + 20% off! perfect for those points! also works on clearance!

I love Carter’s both my girls wear it and its pretty much all I buy. So far my stuff has lasted through 2 kids and still looking good! But I do have girls that are not very hard on the clothes. I don’t like that you can’t use coupons on clearance or door buster’s, but when I look at stores that allow that, ex children’s place, and Gymboree for example. TCP clothes do not last as long and personally I have not liked the selection. Gymboree clearance is priced high to allow the use of coupons. So in my experience the best option is to shop in a carters store where you can earn the $10 rewards. Buy what you like and use a coupon, then the next day your reward is valid so I just stop back and grab up the clearance and doorbusters and use my rewards I earned. For me it is better than what I can find else where and I also love the no time limit return policy!!! Most places are only 30-60- or 90 days. It allows the ability to shop for next year and if you guess wrong return it next year! Just my 2 cents on what works for our family!

I went to Burlington and found a TON of Carters outfits for my 4 year old boy for like 3.98 and 2.98. Just wanted to pass that along, another option to get Carters clothes for cheap.
