We usually buy Huggies, or Pampers. Last time we needed diapers, my husband was in Sams Club and got Luvs instead.
This is the first time we use Luvs, but I’ve noticed they leak more than Huggies and Pampers do. Also as soon as my little one wets his diaper, the diaper starts smelling.
Is that the case with all Luvs, or did we just get a bad batch? Ive heard good stuff about them, but that hasn’t been the case for us.
myself, my aunt, and all my cousins (each of us with 3-4 kids) hated loves. i like pampers as small babies, huggies as they get older, my cousin says the target up and up diapers are awesome

I tried luvs on my first daughter and will never buy them again. They leaked a ton more than Huggies or Pampers. They just weren’t practical since she leaked through them in no time and I was doing a ton more laundry! With my first I preferred Pampers (although I certainly used Huggies as well) for diapers and Huggies Pull-ups (I try to never buy Pampers EZ-Ups but I will if it’s a good enough deal). I’m anticipating that my second will be the same way but I’ll find out in another month!

Thanks for your input everyone. Glad to see Im not the only one not liking Luvs. I tried so hard to like them, but as soon as my box is done, Im going back to Huggies and Pampers.
Tilla Ham, Im the same as well, I like pampers when they are newborns, and buggies as they get older.
I think it just depends on the kid. Some kids are fine in any brand diaper but other kids need specific brands in order to hold everything in.
I loved Luvs when my son was a baby…he is 6yo now. I did find them to be hard and stuff but worked great
I loved the Luvs brand diaper they held everything in and I never had an issue with leakage like other people have. I also loved pampers but when hit with the price difference Luvs was a no brainer.
Huggies and my son didn’t get along he leaked all the time in them no matter what.
I think that not all kids are porpotioned the same and you have to find the diaper that works best for you no matter what it be and to find it on sale is always better

Luvs always leaked on my kids. And they feel so plastic-like. Many better diapers out there for us!
