This is the 5th time this happened with me and Sears, From a BBQ to a Patio set and tools and a Christmas tree, any good sale they post not 5 minutes after it goes out… they won’t honor the sale, I’m done with Sears.
We can hardly blame the stores. Savings websites like hip2save.com post awesome deals, but they have lots and lots of followers. Many don’t comment, but the minute something like this is posted people race for check out. Many times people will order a large amount and sell them for higher rates. I used to find great deals and would share, but stopped because once it got posted on this savings sites I would end up with a canceled order.
I spoke with an associate and they said that you can go into the store and get a raincheck as they will be back in stock eventually and they will give it to you for that price
I was able to get it, but will take 32 days to be available for pick up.
I clicked the talk to an agent and they called me. Once the website is working she is sending me an email link that will honor the price for 24 hours. It is worth a try!
I did the same thing but they told me they could not help me. 🙁 This would have been a great gift for my father for his birthday next month.
You can go in store and purchase it. It is on a month back order, but still worth it 🙂

Spoke to Sears when unable to add this item to my cart. It’s not available for 34-36 days so was advised by Sears rep to try every week or so. Should be able to add to cart once it’s available.

I hit the chat button and the person I had was less then helpful. They would not do anything to help me at all. So very frustrating.

I called the 1-800 number provided in the comment section she was nice tried to help with no luck and then gave me a comparable one which is the one your suggesting.

I called to do a phone order and they said that the item is on the error pricing list and no one can add it to purchase it any longer, not the sales rep or us online. He also said he would put my email on it and they will email me letting me know if they will honor this sale price. My guess it’ll be a “I’m sorry the promo was incorrect” email.
Yep had the same issue as the rest of you. Hit chat no help. Called and the man said he would call back it 5-10 minutes (computer issues I was told). It’s been over an hour and no call. Then I went back to the site and the page is no longer available. I have no idea why I shop online at Sears I get nothing but headaches from Not being able to order and item or being double billed for something that I did order. Then it’s like pulling teeth to get your money back. I actually had to file a complaint with my credit card to get money back because Sears said they didn’t double bill…SMH
Was able to get it over the phone! It will be at my local store in 38 days! Woo for buying for Christmas early!
I called customer service. They guy got the same error message trying to order it as I did. Said he was going to send in an error report to the IT dept. to fix. He said he would send me a link to order it once it was fixed. So we will see if I get an email. I doubt it.
I call the 800 numb er and they told me that the page was gone and it was an error, but the guy searched for a similar product and brought up the 92.99 craftsman and told me he could give me 10% off of that one if I was interested. I just insisted I’d either do 69.99 or pass and he ended up overriding the price and giving it to me at the 69.99 price. Keep calling! I am happier we got this one as it is instock at all the stores around us and we can pick it up whenever now!

I am just frustrated with Sears, my order for the Fish Tool Box was cancelled last week, and now this one as well. I am not going to waste my time anymore, Ill just spend my money elsewhere.
