it *should* still work – i would contact SYW directly and let them know the date you started following me and that your free SYW max did not apply like it said it would. They should be able to fix that for you.
Suzyq I spoke with SYW and they said actually that if you have already done a free trial of the SYW max, you will not get another by following. I’m super sorry for the confusion!

I got these points… and mine were not for following a personal shopper. They were for being a valued member. I just saw them in my account this morning. I check almost daily because they randomly give me Surprise Points with no purchase required.

Diane Log into your shopyourway dot com account and at the very bottom of your screen you will see personal shopper click on that and you can search for a personal shopper. My daughter is a personal shopper (Jocelyn Mercado) she would be grateful if you select her 😉 Thanks

I have a question about the $10 back in points for spending $10 and the 20 on 20 coupons that we released recently. When did you guys get the points added to your account. I went to Kmart yesterday and still don’t see the points.
The points will post to your account when your order fully processes or ships if you ordered online. This could take as little as an hour or as long as 7-10 days. Hope that helps!

My points showed on my receipt at checkout in the store, I made sure to check before I walked away. I had like 17 points before and on my receipt it showed 25,000 were added. It was weird bc it was supposed to add only 20,000 but hey I’ll take it.

I didn’t do the personal shopper thing you ladies are talking about and I have those 5,000 points in my account. Mines say $5 off purchase of $25 or more and it also states “Offer points cannot be used on Food, Household Cleaning, Beauty, Stationery, Health and Pharmacy department purchases”.
You have surprise points on a purchase threshold. However we received 5,000 points and could use them on anything not minimum purchase required.
No $5 from being a valued shopper. just the $5 I got from my personal shopper.

Love SYW Rewards points. Got some great stuff this past week at Kmart.
Purchase #1: bought 4 bike inner tubes (online price of $3 each) for a 26″ beach cruiser. Cost was $12 + tax out of pocket. Used the “spend $10 and get back $10 in points” facebook offer code on this purchase.
Purchase #2: bought one of the $24.99 media players from the deal that was posted a few days back. Applied the $10 in points from purchase #1, paid $14.99 + tax out of pocket. Also applied the “spend $20 get $20 back in points” facebook offer code to this purchase. Also got $20 back in points for the “media purchase deal”.
Purchse #3: Had lost a cellphone a few months back. Needed an inexpensive one with auto focus so I could use ibotta and saving star app.
Saw the Moto G on sale for $69. I knew I had $40 in points from purchase #3 to use. Checked my email and found they had credited me $5 for the “cancelled tool box” order from last week. I was looking at $45 in points available.
Purchased the cellphone and applied the $45 in points. Paid $24.99 + tax out of pocket for this order. Also applied the facebook “spend $20 get $10 back in points” facebook offer code.
Purchase #4: Used the $10 in points from purchase #3 to buy a pack of printer paper, a bird suet, and a suet holder. Got the basic % back for this purchase.
Not a bad haul. Got $117 worth of stuff for just $52 + tax out of pocket.
Would love to have gotten the $5. Picky birds don’t like the suet. I guess I have spoiled them with the loose stuff.All those loud chirps of disapproval is my morning alarm clock, lol.

I used mine to get vacuum bags that I got online and will pick up in the store, did not have to run out and spend this at the store. Saved me time and money. Will pick up tomorrow when I am over that way. Thanks.
I got $5 SYWR points Friday spent them at Sears and got $5 in surprise points to use at Sears.
Separately I used the buy $10 get $10 back in points from the Facebook signup and it did NOT automatically post. The manager did take care of it but if the points don’t show up on your receipt then you probably did Not get the points for your next purchase.
Geez am I the only one totally confused by Shop Your Way rewards? Its too complicated for me. :/
I hope someone can help me. I have 15,000 surprise points to use until Jan 2015. They cannot be loaded onto my acct. I called & they said to make a purchase of $15 or more….then key in my pin#, and use a penny from my account & it will trigger the system & my “surprise points” should get loaded onto my account to use then. The process just sounds strange to me, so I am wondering if this is how you do it. Any assistance is appreciated. I know how to redeem points , just not the “surprise points”

IDK that sounds weird. Surprise points don’t normally have that long of an expiration, usually a few days to a week or so. Also, surprise points are already loaded to your acct. When you check out (either in store or online) those points will credit immediately once you meet the deal requirement. You just need to read what the surprise offer is for and what store. Some are for Kmart, some are Sears, some for both.
When you log into your SYW acct, click on your points and a drop down menu appears. Then click “see all” under surprise points. Mine says I have 35,000 ($35) in surprise points, but they are broken down to different offers:
20,000 ($20) for a $120 Tool purchase at Sears
10,000 ($10) for a $50 Apparel purchase at Sears or Kmart
5,000 ($5) for a $25 Women’s Apparel purchase at Kmart
