Did you know you can make your own caramel dip or sauce using just one simple pantry item? This is a perfect treat to enjoy with apples this Fall and it’s super easy to make – all you need is a can of sweetened condensed milk!
One Ingredient Caramel Sauce/Dip

Stovetop Directions: Empty 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk into double boiler (or make your own double boiler by pouring milk into a Pyrex dish/measuring cup placed inside a pan of water!). Make sure the water level is above the level of milk. Cover and let simmer for 60-90 minutes over medium low heat until mixture becomes thick and brown in color. Stir occasionally. When done, remove from heat and let cool for 20 minutes. Store any leftovers in fridge.
This recipe makes a really yummy creamy dip! Great over ice cream as well. Enjoy! 🙂
