Don’t forget the $5.00 gift card when you by $25.00 worth of school supplies Target coupon!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the reminder, Missie! 🙂

  2. Erika

Is that a good price point for the diapers? I have the red card for an additional 5% off if that makes a difference.

    • Jennine

Do the math, if it comes out to less than 15c per diaper your good

    • cbeths

It really depends on the size and brand of the diapers. While 25/ea would be a great price (IMO) for pampers size 6, it would be a horrible price for Target brand size 1. It doesnt seem like 15% off would be that great considering there are usually a lot of gift card deals which include Target brand diapers.

  3. Cara

My Target had signs all over with instructions for texting to get that $5 via a text/mobile coupon.

Question. We recently got a new place for ourselves. We have to ” grow” our grass lawn surrounding the house from scratch. Right now the house is surrounded by dirt. Clueless on what to buy or even do for basic minimal lawn maintenance. Any pointers please will be helpful.

Google the topic and lots of sites cone up. Also, go to a local gardening store and ask about which is the right seed for your area and soil. You may want to consider a seeding service that sprays a mixture of seed and fertilizer (colored green) over the soil. You may also want or need to put in a sprinkler system, depending on where you live and the water situation.

    • Happymama

Big lots has really reasonable grass seed that works amazingly well! We had a whole front yard to grow grass in and after many expensive tries, tilling the whole yard and covering it in grass seed finally did it. HTH

    • Emily

You want a good quality grass seed. Some of them use weed as filler. You want the seeds and not one that is shredded paper to keep the moisture in. Spread some hay on top of the grass seed to keep the birds from eating the seeds and help lock the moisture in. Water all the time and you’ll get grass in a few weeks. The best times to plant grass in my area (PA) is in the early spring or in the fall. So now, is probably a great time to plant grass, and by “plant,” you just scatter it on top of the ground. You should use a lot of it and make sure the ground is pretty well covered.

I’m reseeding as well, this fall (killing off the existing weeds). Related to watering, I read an interesting idea of putting plastic down to lock in moisture until the seedlings emerge, at which point it’s removed. Doesn’t really work for a yard, at least mine, but a cool idea for small area.

Our Target had the Hunt’s Pudding Family Pack on clearance for $2.60. With a $1/1 mobile coupon, the cost of this 12 pack was $1.60. Text LUNCH to 827438 for the coupon. Thanks, Collin.

  6. Sue

My DS is starting kindergarten next year and it would be helpful if anyone could give suggestions as to what are the items that I should buy and stock up during clearance right now. Thanks!!

    • Kim

Crayons, markers, colored pencils, pencils, a lot of glue sticks (I had to send in 20), dry erase markers too! Hope that helps!!

      • Cathy

Also–ziploc bags, Clorox/Lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, and CRAYONS, CRAYONS, CRAYONS!!!

    • Ashley

we needed markers, crayons, 2 pocket folders, large glue sticks, scissors, spiral notebook, pencil box. I tried to buy some things last year while they were on clearance and it didn’t work out so well. I couldn’t use most of the items because the list was so specific. (for example certain colors of folders.) I also recommend only buying classic color markers.

    • J

I also had to send Lysol spray, post it’s, folders and a headset (for the computers).

    • Clare

thermos/beverage container(s). i would also suggest if you want to stock up, obtain the supply list from the school you think your child will be attending to get an idea of what they will ask. In my case, we did not need headsets, only specific colored folders (and 3 pronged and plastic), and specific size glue sticks, baby wipes vs. lysol type wipes, and so on 🙂

  7. Jenn

Check your local school districts website for school supplies – the lists are very similar year after year 🙂

  8. Lena

Anyone know when they will mark the backpacks to 70 or 90% off?

  9. Krystle

I just came back from my Target in Rosemont, IL and they were in the middle of marking down baby food pouches – Ella’s Kitchen, Happy Tots, Plum Organics. The clearance priced ranged from $0.97-$1.27. Luckily I was buying baby food anyway and had a bunch of printables $1/1 and $1/2 and target and cartwheel offers, making them free!

  10. Stacy

Our local target had honest brand diapers on clearance. I don’t have a baby so I didn’t check to prices though.

  11. Misty

I found the 2 pack glue sticks for $.08 today. Super awesome deal on something I can always use for Sunday School.

  12. Christy

Our Target in Fort Wayne had Luvs and Pampers diapers also on clearance. I also found many kids outfits for 70% off making onesies $1.50 and shorts $1.50!

    • Amanda

hey! I’m in Fort Wayne IN too! 😛 Do you remember the clearance price for the pampers by any chance?

  13. Lisa

Yesterday I bought the school 4 Pack of kleenex. It was marked down to $4.40 and the box had a $0.75 coupon on it. I also had a buy (2) 4 packs of Kleenex get $1.50 off Target coupon. I ended getting the boxes for $.67 each!

  15. joe

I went to 2 target stores and scored 129 2-packs of up&up glue sticks for $0.11each. I got 64 at one store and 65 at another. I took all of what they had from multiple places in each store

  16. SUE

15% off is not a clearance sale in my mind.

  17. Judy

just saw the ad scan for next week – looks like there is an in ad coupon for $10 off any $40 Up and UP purchase — excludes pharamceuticals – but looks like it includes diapers 🙂

  18. Iheartcouponing

I just came back from target and I bought the up&up glue for $0.03 and post it notes for $0.10 each. Also the papermates 10 pack pens are $0.11. Great prices for stock up.
