How many bags did you buy to get the coupons?

  3. Carol_R

This is off topic, but hoping someone can help me out…

What is your price point for Halloween candy?

Last year was our first Halloween in this house & happened to be the same day I was released from the hospital after having our son. My hubs stopped on the way home & spent $60 on candy only to run out an hour in.

Hey Samantha, couponing for candy is a little tougher every year. I buy candy through the whole year as I get good deals. I stock it for school events and holidays. I put it in a big rubber box at the bottom of my stockpile so it is hard to get in easily, LOL, that keeps me and my family out of it! I always set a limit of about $25.00 worth of candy and when it’s gone I turn off my porch light and shut my door. That I believe is the signal to halloweeners that you are done. In recent years with how crazy people can be a lot of churches have trunk or treat which is a lot of fun and safer for everyone. Hope this helped.
