why would they wear fleece lined leggings with bare feet in sandals? don’t most people’s feet get cold before their knees? 🙂

      🙂

Lol I think it’s to fully display them. It looks like there’s a design on the bottom of the pants

LOL to all the comments. I agree–put on socks and shoes, and wear something to cover them up! 🙂

In all seriousness, though, I just have to say that my adult daughters and I have these (in black and in adult sizes, of course), and they’re wonderful for wearing under any type of pants (with BOOTS, not sandals!) for extra warmth in cold weather. For college students and faculty/staff who have to walk across campus or those who travel by foot in the winter, they act as a super warm layer when the cold winter wind might otherwise cut through clothing. If anyone has little girls who wait for a school bus or walk (or play) outside in the cold, these might be a nice idea.

    Haha! So true! …boots?

Nope!! 😊 weather that’s hot leggins is ok no hard feelings pls!!!

Went to college in San Diego. Winter just meant that the girls wore a scarf with their mini skirts

am I the only mom on the planet that hates leggings unless they are covered by a tunic or dress? thank goodness all three of my daughters agree.

    • Rae

nope you are not alone. 🙂 I am the same way and when I go walking through the mall I am so thankful I was blessed with only boys because some of the things I see teen girls wearing.
Though I would imagine that is advertisement photo is just that… advertisement for the product. Even if everyone knows how leggings fit they are showing cut and fit of the product but not having the top covered by a tunic and the bottoms covered by boots.

    • Kelsey

No, I hate leggings too! Even if they have a tunic on. However, my 4 year old LOVES them and my 2 year old inherited my big booty combined with cloth diaper butt…leggings are my only option

    • jan

I only put leggings on if my daughters dress is getting a little short for my liking, sweater dress, or really long tunic. HATE the leggings as pants craze…especially grown women…really NOT flattering on anyone.

I agree, super unflattering on most folks! I lecture on occasion at a University for undergrad health care in Sociology and it seems like everyone wears leggings as pants! That, or Nike shorts with Uggs. Last year (and I’m sure this fall) it was super tight jeans and knee high brown boots with a black North Face. It’s really weird, looks like an odd Sorority army. At least the med students I usually lecture to have a slightly broader fashion palate. It’s boring looking at the same clothes on everyone haha

I agree too! I’ve never considered leggings/jeggings as pants for my now-5-year-old daughter (let alone me!). I also make her wear ‘cartwheel’ shorts under her skirts and dresses that don’t already have them built in. It’s not about a style statement but rather that I’d like modesty to be a habit long before it needs to be a discussion. I do love leggings as layering pieces though. They saved me from a LOT of battles last fall/winter when she was going through a “only skirts and dresses are cute” phase. Thankfully we live in Florida so most days a long sleeve shirt, leggings under a skirt, boots and a cozy jacket were warm enough. 🙂

Sandals is a yes yes in this weather!! Hehehe! Sowee!! Happy for this deals!

Great deal especially the amazon… Now if I can only find some friends to split with. I agree with the above posters; I’m not accustomed to seeing exposed butts with leggings. I’m use to having it covered with tunic, long shirts, skirts, etc

My daughters are 3 and 5. Both wear leggings regularly. They prefer leggings and jeggings to jeans. They don’t need to cover up with a dress or a tunic. They are little girls!!! Leggings are pants for them, and they are comfortable and adorable. Haven’t tried the ones advertised. I like Gymboree and Children’s Place.

Im glad Im not alone on this one. We are talking about kids here. My 2 year old has been wearing leggings since she was born. And no I do not find it disturbing, I do not think she needs to wear a dress or a tunic, & I do not find it inappropriate. Its you judgmental & wrong minded people who make everything seem not kid appropriate.

      • Mamasweetpea

I for one am not talking about toddlers nor am I trying to pass judgement. It’s just a personal opinion or preference that I’m not crazy about leggings as pants especially on teens and adults. My daughter likes jeggings, sporty pants, velour and fleece pants. She prefers “soft pants” to jeans or button up pants. I’ve purchased the fleece lined leggings for myself, and they’re great for pairing with long sweaters, dresses, etc and boots during the cold months so I’m excited to find some in kid sizes. Thank you
