Excited to do this. Found Pirate hats and patches in the reduced One Spot at Target a few weeks ago! Do you know if any other stores (Long John’s etc.) are doing anything for Talk Like a Pirate Day?

You can head to Greenville to get your free doughnut. I think it is crazy that Spartanburg is not participating.
That would be a really long drive just for a free donut…just saying 🙂
Besides the fact that the stores are all up into town and not near the interstate-so not worth it.

Anyone know what is considered “full” pirate costume? Like do we need to go all out or will ragged pants, a top and a hat and patch work?
At my closest store that will work, at least it did last year. We will probably do the same as last year.
Last year you had to have 3 pieces of pirate gear. I wrote an eye patch, hook, and bandana. Their website should specify what is acceptable.
The krispy kreme website has a list of items that qualify as pirate attire, have to wear at least 3.
Does anyone know if there is a website that tells you when these fun days are scheduled so I know in advance? I know about Pi Day (3/14) but not really sure about any others. Would love to be able to do something fun for my classroom for these days.
