This is the response I got:
“I apologize for any confusion regarding the terms and conditions of the offer, for the purchase of (2) qualifying products you will be provided a single Star Code.

Star Codes do not have a specific value that they can be redeemed for.

Please advise if there is anything else we can assist you with.

I still have a screen shot of the original offer saying $5 star code. It even has my tracking number. The link above now just says star code. Going to wait for Starbucks to get back to me and see what they say and then escalate if necessary.

I got the same response as Kimbra. I wrote back saying my confirmation specifies a $5 star code and offered to send a copy. I’ll be interested to see what Starbucks says, JD When I called them earlier, the reply said they are not involved and that I should call Young America.

        • Terri

Here is the response I got from Brad after I sent the confirmation and asked who sponsored the promotion:
Thank you for providing the requested information, my only suggestion would be to visit the Starbucks website for the Rewards Program Terms and Conditions:
          https://www.starbucks.com/card/rewards/rewards-program-ts-and-cs
          (3) Purchase a specially marked Starbucks® product from a participating grocery retailer and enter the Star code located on, or if indicated, inside the packaging at http://www.starbucks.com/rewards
. Follow the prompts to create an account and select a Starbucks Card.
The minimum balance for an account is $5, by enrolling in the program with the Star Code you should be able to enroll with the minimum balance.

          Huh!

          Here’s what I wrote back:
Brad, is the confirmation I sent for the $5 code being reviewed? What is the status?

I understand how the regular Starbucks Reward program works, but the Fall Reward Program had nothing to do with using the star codes from the packages. I submitted the required proof of purchases and form by the dates specified and, as the confirmation states, I earned a $5 star code.

Is this promotion sponsored by Starbucks?

        • JD

Email to Starbucks got me 2 additional stars on my account. They focused on the expired aspect. Don’t think they have a clue about the $5 star code.

          • Terri

I haven’t heard back from Young America, so I gave up and called Starbucks again. The rep. I spoke with said she couldn’t find anything about the promotion, but gave me a $5 credit to my card.

does anyone have a screenshot of the promo showing it’s a $5 code they can email me? the one I made only shows that it’s a code and the one they sent me after fighting with them for a month is a single star code. mommyriley@gmail.com
