Just an FYI — I signed up with my mom’s AMEX card since all I have is VISA. But once I’m logged in, I can shop at the retailers (toys r us for example) and put in my personal VISA info and still get shoprunner shipping. So if you don’t have an AMEX card, find a relative who doesn’t mind you borrowing it to sign up 🙂 Then you can use your own card for billing.
Is there a list of stores that they are affiliated with so you can see if it’s worth signing up ? Thanks
Is this a “limited time” promotion or ongoing? Is it sad that I am considering applying to a AE card just for the shoprunner?
You know, every time you apply for a new credit card, they will do “hard pull” on your credit score which may affect you negatively when you want to get a loan/mortgage later. Think about that thoughtfully to see if it’s worth it before applying for a new credit card.
True, but those with excellent credit scores should not be overly concerned about opening an occasional credit card. It’s late payments and other abuse of credit lines that will have a significant impact on your credit history.

Prepaid cards are not eligible… I don’t think serve will work but you can definitely try…
All you have to do is put in Amax card number in question. If it does not take, it will tell you so.
no unfortunately all of the no credit required, prepay, not acquired from AMEX directly, etc are not eligible. It has to be the kind issued through AMEX and has a credit limit.
They do have a list in their website but I’ve found that there are more stores available than what is listed. I don’t think it’s necessarily worth the normal price but I have really enjoyed the perks since getting in on the Amazon prime promo for a free yr. My biggest benefit comes from my husband being a huge sports fan but he has a hard time finding stuff that fits since he’s of football player proportions. With shoprunner I get free shipping and free returns at fanatics.com which is a huge plus.
You also get free delivery at Dominos which I think is kind of funny but hey Im happy to keep my $2.50 delivery charge.
Sports Authority is no longer one of Shop runners stores.. If it were, I’d sign up again.
I’ve had shoprunner for 2 yrs free and I think I might have used it twice. Most sale items are never included for free shipping and at toys r us everything I’m interested in isn’t available for shoprunner.
If it wasn’t free I would pass.
I already registered with Blue Amax which exp. end of this year. Trying to figure out how to detach my blue amax from one account that expire to one that have no expiration date.
The store I use Shoprunner the most with is Domino’s! It takes off that goofy $2 delivery fee.

Is Toys r Us no longer a shoprunner store? When you log on to to the shoprunner site and do the stores drop down menu Toys r Us is not listed, yet it shows Toys r Us in the shoprunner advertisement signup link?
