The Squatty Potty helps you to eliminate faster and more complete by putting your body into a natural squatting position over your own toilet. Using the Squatty Potty during elimination will un-kink your rectum taking your body from a continent mode to an elimination mode. This will speed up the elimination process therefore reducing the risk of toxic build up of fecal matter left in your colon.[/h2s_box]

Does anyone that purchased this last time it was posted have any feedback? Thanks! 🙂

    • Sarah

This is a fantastic product! I bought it before I got pregnant, and am even more convinced now. My little one also uses it as a stool to climb up to sit on the potty.

    • Lori Stevens

I bought one for my husband because he has constipation problems. However, he thought the squatty potty was uncomfortable to use and stopped using it after three times. Just know that it probably helps but may require some getting used to.

    • Elisa

I ordered this about six months ago when Colin had it on here. It is a life changing product. I suffered from really bad hemmeriods and using this stool has changed my life. I would reccomend it 100%

  2. Dee

I love how these things make it sound like you’re going to build up a toxic pile of poo in your colon if you don’t use their product to “completely empty” it. You don’t get a “toxic build up” if you eliminate regularly, whether you use this product or not. Is it something that some people might want to use? Sure. Is it something anyone actually NEEDS? No.

    • steph

Judging by peoples responses about this product it looks like some people do need it. Maybe you do not but some obviously do.

    • Candi

Actually my son does build up a toxic pile of poo so he does need this and it has eliminated the need for medication and laxatives to empty his colon. Please show a little respect to others. Thanks.

    • Erin

Google megacolon. It’s not terribly common, though. It is hard to believe how many people have problems. I wonder how much of it is processed foods and poor diets.

    • shop4mybabies

you absolutely can build up a toxic amount of poo. constipation can actually be extremely dangerous, and not having properly functioning bowels can destroy pretty much your entire body. My son was sick for months due to constipation and constipation alone. Poop is no joke

    • Kathy

I work in diagnostic imaging…. when radiologists read xrays or ct scans of the abdomen and pelvis area they always comment on the “copious amount of stool” in the patients’ colon!

  3. Pinky

Is it the first of April? Lol, I swear I clicked on this thinking it was some sorta joke with a silly link or something 🙂

    • Gina Rock

      Yes so did I lol!

    • nicolegammeter

      😉

  4. Terry

Does an “I Pooped Today” t-shirt come with it!?!?!?

    • nicolegammeter

      LOL! 🙂

  5. Jennifer Day

LMAO. So, My husband heard about this item on Howard Stern and bought one last month. He LOVES LOVES LOVES it, when he had to travel, he was really missing his. If you have ANY type of bathroom issues, this is the potty tool to have, for sure. He made me buy these so he had one for our vacation property too, the second one will be for either a gift or our spare bathroom, he’s that in love with this stool. 🙂

    • wdrwoman

Ive heard about it on Howard too..he swears by it!

  6. Suzyq

We keep a supply of “one drop” in our house and it has saved my marriage!! 🙂 hahaha seriously no odor if you put a drop or two in before you go, amazing stuff!

  7. Marjie

I bought it last time & it has sure helped out at our house. I’m thinking of taking advantage of this new deal too, it would be nice to have one in each bathroom.

  8. Maureen

Do these have enough of a step in front to be used as a step stool for little boys when peeing?

    • Erin

Just buy a stepstool and prop your feet up when you go. Does the same thing, but a stepstool is much cheaper.

      • Jodie Finney

You are so right! We have had the same step stool since my 12 yr old was potty training 10 yrs ago! It definitely does the same job and I paid like 8 bucks for it at Target.

    • Sarah

The front is pretty thin, but if their stance is wide enough they can put a foot on either side. My little one uses this to climb/sit on the potty.

  9. thejrallimans

The Squatty Potty LITERALLY changed my life…and I don’t care who knows it! I am actually offended and a nervous wreck if someone doesn’t have one of these (or a stool of some sort) nearby. I had a heck of a time after having baby #1 up until the day I got one of these. Life saver! Okay…butt saver 😉

  10. Ryg

I purchased this last time it was available and we love it!

  11. Ava

Funny. I use my 3 year old’s step stool, because my feet barely reaches the floor when sitting on the toilet.

  12. Val

I was skeptical at first. We love our squatty potty. Saw it on Dr. Oz quite a while ago. Paid around $25 on Amazon, so this is a good deal for two of them. We could probably use 2 more, one for each bathroom (not the guest powder room!). You don’t have to have “issues” to appreciate this. It simply adjusts your posture to a more natural and comfortable position for ‘elimination’. We both use psyllium husk supplements because we probably don’t get enough fiber in our diets through food and fiber bars are so high in sugar and carbs.

  13. Dan Yell

I just ordered one- It let me use the code (I had two but deleted one to see the shipping costs) and got the free shipping and $5 off and the free 1 oz spray. So $19.99. This is going to be my gift for our white elephant party this xmas!

    • Mindy

Thanks…this worked for me also. 🙂

    • SoxGirl1029

Thanks for the tip 🙂 I just did the same thing. I wanted to try it before buying 2.

  14. Dee

Can’t you just use a step stool?? I’m thinking it would work the same

    • Mindy

Most step stools aren’t made to wrap around the sides of the toilet like this one does. Maybe two step stools……??

      • Erin

You don’t need two stepstools unless you do a split when sitting on the toilet. If you sit as you usually sit–knees more or less together–both feet will remain on the stepstool because it is in front of you. And yes, it is much cheaper. The wraparound business might be nice to keep the squatty potty flush (ha ha) against the toilet and out of the way. I have to have stools (wah-wah) for my kids anyway, so it’s irrelevant to me.

  15. jesse

Dr. Oz said to just use 2 piles of books. I just raise my feet on my toddler’s step stool from Ikea for $4. Does the trick. Also, lean forward, helps eliminate more.

    • shop4mybabies

two piles of books? books are incredibly expensive, and very sacred in this house. I would never deign to subject them to fecal matter or dirty feet, shame on dr oz

      • Jennifer

        Phone books. Or gold bricks.

        • Jennifer A

Oooh that’s a wonderful idea! I was wondering what to do with my excess stacks of gold bricks I have! 😉 😉 lol

  16. Nora

As an adult for the past year I started using a step stool to be in a squat position. It does make a difference in how you eliminate.

  17. Shannon M

Thanks Dan! I only needed one!!

  18. bali

My SIL got this and she loves it!

  19. Carol_R

    For constipation, I recommend Miralax.

  20. Tonia

Can’t figure out if I should get the 7″ or the 9″… I am 5’6″, but also flexible.

    • Shelly Green

If your toilet is standard height (14-15 inches) get the 7″, if you have a higher toilet (15 1/2 inches or higher) get the 9″.

  21. Jessica

I used to think these posts were so funny, and I finally caved in and bought one in February. Let me tell you, IT’S AMAZING!!!! Does it take getting used to? YES! BUT, it works! If you are questioning the height, I’m 5’8 and I prefer the higher one. My sister has the shorter one, but it doesn’t seem as effective.

    • Tonia

Thank you! I used to be 5’8″ lol. I am not sure what happened, but after giving birth I lost 2 inches! I will get the 9″ one. Thank you!

  22. Jennifer A

I bought one for my son the last time they ran this special. He has bowel issues and used to poop his pants a lot just because he could do the squat position and be more comfortable (and have an easier time) in eliminating. It took a little getting used to for him, but he no longer poops his pants. Yay for not having to result to medicinal/supplemental means!! And, FYI, everybody in the house now uses it and loves it!!

  23. Maria

I would totally recommend this product!! I use it when I feel like I have trouble going, about every other day. I seriously have nothing but nice things to say about it. I bought it for a lot more, but stools or stacks of books or whatever will not cut it, and it’s nice that it can be tucked under the toilet when not in use.

  24. JODI

Can’t you just lean forward, with your knees apart a little and your feet tucked back and be in the same position?

    • Wehaf

I think the key is to have your knees raised up above your waist. Maybe some taller people the position you describe would work, but for most people it would be noticeably different from the position when using this.

  25. shanshan

Fun to read the comments. If you Google “Japanese style toilet” you see how different those toilets are and yes, naturally you have to squat over them. But I also know squatting may help, but doesn’t eliminate those heath problems in my Asian friends. Anywho, time to break out my gold bricks stash.

  26. Danielle

Lol..I thought I was weird cuz I use my kids step stool for this purpose. Haha. It really does make pooping easier. Interesting to see I’m not alone. Lol 🙂 no one needs to spend $40 on this. As already stated, a normal step stool from walmart or target does the same job for like $5.

  27. jane

I still don’t have one but since a friend got it and shared the video I also shared the video and for the last few years have received numerous hilarious rainbow pets and other related toys and gifts so I absolutely love it!!
