Happy Friday: I Love Mom w/ LEGOS
Sent from reader, Melissa:
My 8 year old loves LEGOs. We pick up any deal we can find because there aren’t many. The other day I was having a down day feeling like a neglectful, busy, over worked momma. I raised my voice a little too much and went to take a mommy time out in my room. When I came out 10 minutes later, I stepped on this sweet note, “I love mom”, with Legos. Made me realize, everyone has bad days and kids just seem to know when we need a little pick me up! I love being a mom.
HAPPY FRIDAY! 😀

So sweet! Thank you for sharing………
Awe this made me a little testy. With 3 kids I can definitely relate to being over worked and I often feel as though I am a “bad” momma because of it. What a great boy you have 😊
Teary
That us the sweetest thing. I was just arguing with my son last night. This morning I couldn’t even remember why. Kids are amazing human beings.
Too sweet 🙂 we have an older lego set that let’s you make letters – has rounded parts and my daughter loves to write her name. We live near the Lego distribution center and will sometime find “rare” Legos at Tag Sales…employees can buy Legos at 1/2 retail or 75% off if the box is crushed 🙂
It’s amazing that no matter how frustrated you get, your kids always know how to put a smile on your face and warm your heart!
So sweet, thanks for sharing!!!
Awww, how precious!
This is so sweet! Keep up the good work mama! We all have days like that…some of us even have weeks like that.
So sweet!!
Adorable!
You should be proud of yourself for raising such a thoughtful son!!!
This is so sweet; thank you for sharing, Melissa. You’re teaching him well. Keep up the good work 🙂
I love this!!!! This is so adorable!!!!!! What a wonderful and amazing little boy you have!!!!!
Awww that is so sweet. Kids know how to brighten our days–sometimes when I am having a rough day my daughter says or does the sweetest things–it melts my heart just thinking about it–
So cute and so sweet
That is so sweet! Thank you for sharing it!
I luv legos too.. Thanks for sharing Melissa, very sweet <3
Very sweet!!
if you are looking for lego deals sometimes the toy stores have those events where you get the little bag set for free! usually one guy and something to build to go with it! my son loves the lego “guys’ so it’s a nice freebie.
Love this post and love legos! Glad you could decode the message. I would have missed it!
By the way, both you and your little one are “awesome”! The young one for doing this, you for being the kind of mom that would deserve that note.
So sweet! 🙂
Thanks for sharing!
I kept a little hand written note like that for years. It stayed on my desk, always made me smile and read: “I love you mommy”. He’s now 13 and lol well enough said.
Thanks for sharing…made my teary, too! I think I need to implement “mommy time out”; I’ve found myself raising my voice too much recently and regret it later.
this is too sweet, my eyes water
