I have a 30% off Body Lotion that printed from the coupon machine. How will it work in the 10oz bottle scenario? I’m thinking it will it be…
    8 * 30% = $2.40
    $8.00 – $2.40 = $5.60
    $5.60 – 3 MFcoupons = PAY $2.60
    Get back $4 ECB

Which will make this a MM! Am I doing this correctly?

    • bea

The 30% comes off after coupons but before any ecbs you might use

      • mel

30% is based after CVS STORE coupons, not manuf coupons. She doesn’t have any store coupons, so that will not affect how the % is calculated. If she were to use a quarterly ecb or beauty buck, since those are true CVS coupons, would change how the register calculates the % off.

        • Blossom

          Thanks Bea and Mel!

        • terri

Mel, are regular ecbs considered cvs store coupons? or just the quarterly? These % off coupons really throw off my calculations…

          • mel

ECBs that you earn from the weekly ad, are “cvs manuf coupons”, and those do not affect how the % off is calculated. However, if you’ve ever gotten a force print ECB, those ring up as a CVS coupon, and will affect the % off. Quarterly, Beauty, Pharmacy rewards are all CVS store coupons, and % off is calculated after those have been deducted.
What is tricky is those MCM coupons. Sometimes they ring up as a CVS Manuf coupons, other times as a CVS coupon, so it’s harder to figure out how they will affect the % off calculation! Usually any store brand coupon will ring up as a store coupon, but sometimes they don’t!

            • Wendy

30% off is off reg. Priced items..won’t work.

            • AR

They aren’t on sale. I was able to use my % off, even though they do ring up as ” buy more/save”

  2. marie

This is one brand I cannot use. The scent makes me nauseated. Last time they had this deal I did it and had to donate what I bought. Even my DH thought it smelled awful.

    • Carri

I agree with you, it smells terrible!

      • mel

I don’t care for the cherry/almond scent. But the others, esp their BB cream, smell good.

    • Jean

It’s so interesting… I really, really enjoy the original scent (cherry-almond). But I agree, there is no way you can use a product if the smell is a turn-off to you. However, it makes me wonder… will others think I smell bad after using this lotion? I know, profound thoughts.

      • dianas

Jean…funny…I love the scent, when I was pregnant I have to rub some on my nose and I was the happiest pregnant woman. ..my husband loves it too.

    • Melissa

You might consider experimenting with the scent. I don’t care much for the scent of a bottle of Jergens with Shea butter that I have. So I added some orange essential oil to it. I like the smell a lot better now.

    • CrescentCityCurly

I think it’s all about perspective. When I was younger it seems like Jergens was the only body lotion available. Or maybe it was the most inexpensive, because it was the only brand that my Mother purchased. Now that my Mother is almost 88 years old and suffering from dementia, the smell of Jergens reminds me of those days when my Mother was so vibrant, loving and strong. Unfortunately, she lost her sense of smell a long time ago because I’m sure if she could smell, the scent would bring back pleasant memories for her too. Nonetheless, I’m getting a couple of bottles and giving her a hand massage.

      • Lisha

Ur post brings delight to my heart. My mothers fave lotion is Jergen’s. She’s sick now and cannot communicate, but I buy her the Shea butter and Natural Glow. When I apply it , it takes me to a happy place prior to her palliative days.

I wish you all the fondest new memories with ur Mom, to complement the old memories. Best wishes to you and your Mom!

  3. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

There are CVS red box coupons for $1 or $2 off any lotion that some are holding that can be used for this deal.

  4. Nyomie

I did this transaction yesterday !

  5. Denise

I’m wondering if there are any Biore pore strip coupons out there. I ran out and would love to take advantage of this ECB deal.

    • Becky

I think there was a $1 off coupon in one of last Sunday’s inserts.

    • JazzE

There is a Biore MFR coupon in the paper.

    • Monica

There are Biore Pore Strips $1 coupons in the 10/5 SSS insert.

  6. JazzE

Haas anyone seen the 10 oz bottles in their stores? None of my CVS sell that size.

    • TravelSuz

Mine don’t either. But it was still a good deal with the 30% off lotion coupon.

    • An

All my three stores have them here in PA.

    • Courtneyrmz

My store doesn’t care these or the Biore, or those masks by Garnier that are usually moneymakers. I live in a small town in TN though.

  7. Jamie

Just curious, is the ECB an instant savings or does it equate to points added to your account for later. Thanks!

    • Lala

It will be printed in the bottom of your receipt and you can use for next purchase.

      • Jamie

        Thank you!

  8. Christine

I have a coupon in my account that is for body lotion – the coupon reads:

“Get 25% off – 25% off body lotion. Try Aveeno, Eucerin, Nivea, or CVS Brand”

Does this mean that I can only use the coupon on those brands specifically? Or can I stack it with this Jergens offer?

    • mel

I got the same coupon a few wks ago. You can use it on any brand. It is just suggesting Aveeno, etc.

      • Christine

        Perfect! Thanks, Mel.

  9. ish

I got free jergens when at kmart last week

  10. Jessica

My store did not have 10oz size so I got 2 of the 3oz size at $2.49ea. I also had to 30% off from machine. I paid $3.50 then got $4 ECB!! Awesome!

  11. maria

I had a cvs coupon of $1 off any body lotion. I bought 2 10oz Jergens and paid with $4ECB’S $3manf coupons and $1 cvs coupon, I ended up paying tax only=D and got my $4ECB’S back!

  12. layla

when I scanned my card I got a $2 off lotion coupon to use!

  13. mich

I have a $1 off body lotion cvs coupon and a $1 off $8 cvs coupon for lotions. Can they be combined?

    • Courtneyrmz

Mich you can use both as long as your subtotal before coupons is $8:)

  14. Courtneyrmz

Just looked at next week’s ad & this same deal is offered again!!!

  15. LauraHrndz

Is this deal good only once? or can I get get the 4ecb twice with 2 different transactions?

    • Courtneyrmz

      It’s a limit of 1 per card:)

      • LauraHrndz

        thank you!

  16. LynnNV

Is the 2/$8 a regional sale? My CVS didn’t have these on sale but only offered the $4 ECB. 🙁

    • AR

They’re actually not on sale, some stores have them tagged as “buy more/save”. So buying 2 they’ll ring up $4 each.

  17. Laura

I was worried the deal would not work for me, because I was not able to get to a CVS until Friday. But it worked like a charm, the lotion was not marked at my store either but it rang up to 2/$8 and I got the four dollar extra care bucks

  18. Michelle

Didn’t work for e in upstate NY:( didn’t print the ECB

  19. maris

Well, I’m at cvs waiting for my meds at the pharmacy and decide to look fit the 3Oz jergens. I actually found some for the very first time….never ever do they have them. I proceed to pay but the cashier rains on my parade and states that if i was proof those for ecb it was not going to work. She days that cvs probably forgot to exclude then and that I should buy the bigger bottles. Sounded sketchy so I proceeded to pay for them. Wow, low and behold they did print. ..MIRACLE! yeah right
