I am new to the app (downloaded today). Can someone tell me the point of selecting the star next to the product? I scanned a receipt and received rebates for products that weren’t listed. Thanks!
I think it’s just a reminder of the products you want to redeem rebates for and easier to find? It’s new to me as I just updated the app a few days ago and hadn’t redeemed an offer yet. I had to open it up to see what you were talking about!
That is odd getting extra credit. Usually they will only send cash back for the items checked when you upload your receipt. I accidentally checked off an offer once and while they did approve my receipt for the items that matched, they also sent a note that my receipt did not match the other offer. Def not the norm!
Maybe you got extra credits for submitting your first receipt? I got an extra $1 for reading directions on how to use snap and they also gave me another $1 for submitting my first receipt. Maybe you are referring to the same extra credit?

Ann: No; just upload your receipt and then check the box next to the items you’ve purchased. I really like Checkout 51; they seem to be very user-friendly. Enjoy 🙂
You don’t have to select items before you shop. This is a fun app cause you can shop at any store too.
