I have a Waterpik it is absolutely amazing!!! Within a week of using Plax before brushing, Dentek to floss, using an Oral-B Professional Care toothbrush, then using the Waterpik the results were AMAZING I use everything in that order. I highly recommend Waterpik.
Hi, I’m just wondering what is so amazing about the results, if you don’t mind sharing?
I see my dentist every 3 months cause plaque builds really fast no matter what I do. Have been going to see her for the past 4 years. Four months ago my dentist recommend me to check out a Waterpik , I was like ok will give it a shot. Went in and she was like your gums are great best she has seen in since I started going there.
The plaque is gone which means less scraping (which I HATE) and my dentist says my gums look excellent. I told her my new regime. In total it takes me about 9 minutes for my entire oral routine, but it’s worth it. The health of your teeth directly correlates to your overall health…I’m not getting paid from any of the products I’ve listed, but I highly recommend them…After the Waterpix I use Scope or Listerine to rinse my mouth.
So Candance & Jen, when you use the Waterpik, how long does take to floss with it?
Usually a minute or so. The beauty of it is you can mix Listerine in with the warm water, and combine flossing and gargling. Just don’t use it on the highest setting because that can cause gum damage. When I use it, it makes my gums feel amazing, and like Jen says, you get nice comments from your dentist and less scraping. 🙂 It’s really good at getting things like popcorn kernels and seeds out of tooth crevaces and gum lines as well.
P.S. This gadget also works as a mini pressure washer for cleaning things. On a high setting, it blasts gook off the soapdish, out of the bottom of a vase or toothbrush holder, or toothbrushes. Also mold off the shower drain. There is some splashback but wow, does it clean! Try it!
I love mine too. It always manages to find a little fleck of something lurking just under the gumline. Love it after eating popcorn, steak, corn on the cob, etc.
Must-have for braces or people who otherwise are not going to floss. It helped with my tooth sensitivity also. Tip: Use warm water instead of cold if you have sensitive teeth!
There is also a cordless version of this but I think its usefulness would be limited to the shower, since you need somewhere to drool the water from your mouth… Not like you can use this in the car!

I had this a few years ago, and unless you have braces I don’t really see this helping much with anything. It just sprays water.

I have had a Waterpik for several years, I got it free at Riteaid via sale price, coupon, up rewards and manufacturer rebate, my hygienist recommended me getting one to help clean the plague from those dreaded back teeth and now that I have bridges the Waterpik is the best to use to help clean under them, I recommend it to everyone

It’s showing in stock, but I keep getting this error message “Code not applied. Requirements weren’t met, or it could not be combined with a code already applied.” The price did drop two dollars to 54.99. I’m really disappointed, I wanted to get this, but it looks like they’ve invalidated that code.
To be clear, I meant the price is 54.99 today from the 56.99, I don’t have any other codes used.
