BabiesRUs: Baby’s First Halloween Event Tomorrow
If you had a baby in 2014, don’t forget about this fun event taking place tomorrow! On October 18th from 10-11AM, head over to your local BabiesRUs to participate in their Baby’s First Halloween event! Has anyone done this before? Was it worth the trip? Our babe is 4 months old.
I was wondering the same thing. And do you have to dress your baby up?
I called my local store in North Carolina. They do want the babies to be dressed up. The parade is walking them around the store showing off their costumes. They said arts and crafts (a trick or treat bag) amd store time. A raffle will be going on so I am assuming everyone won’t get freebies. now it could be different with each store. My biggest worry is people are going to show up with all their kids and it won’t be babies… bigger kids tend to take over things. We will see.
Most of them can’t walk at this point, since they will be under a year. 🙂
That’s why I said “walking them” as in the parents walk the babies around. Or push them in a stroller if your feeling extra lazy the main point is there isn’t an actual parade.
I haven’t done this event, but I did the Christmas one and they gave us each a $10 gift card plus coupons and free baby food/samples of baby products. We also made a first Christmas ornament.
I, too attended the Christmas event. Some didn’t bring their kids with them (I did) but was still given the $10 gc and were entered in a raffle. I won a Christmas suit for my baby. I haven’t been to a Halloween event yet.
I’m taking my little boy on his 1st bday tomorrow because he was preemie so we couldn’t go last year. 😃

Cute event. Only 8 families showed up and they did give out a lot of samples and had nice raffle prizes. We won an 84 box of pampers sensitive diapers in the raffle. Totally worth it. Thanks for the heads up.
Did they give out gift cards?
We got a $20 Shutterfly gift card, Boogie wipe sample, formula sample, butt paste sample, coupon for free baby food pouch, Dreft stain spray sample, and a bib.
Ours only had the sample boogie wipe, formula sample, deft sample, and coupon for baby food pouch. The only activity was coloring the bag- no story time, parade, or anything else. I needed to get out of the house anyway (baby is not even 3 weeks old and I’m getting cabin fever while the hubby works a double) but I wouldn’t recommend going to it
We really cleaned up. We got 12 8 oz bottles of rtu formula, 3 packages of wipes, 4 free food pouch coupons and we won the free year subscription of Highlights mag. They were generous with the samples since there was so much left over.
We had no activity. No story time. No parade. They gave free sample of boogie wipes. Butt paste, baby ganics, coupon for free happy tot baby food pouch and and a babies r us brand baby food fruit mush pouch. In the raffle I won a small 18 wipe bag. Has 18 wipes in it. They didn’t want to do the raffle til 12 even though event says 10-11. I asked the manager so they did the raffle earlier.
There were alot of people at ours in Fort Myers, Florida so we didnt win anything. Did lots of giveaways but my wife and i didnt win anything.
