Since it is a frozen product, just for today, you could use the Target coupon of $5 off $25 along with the manufacturer coupon.
also on target cartwheel you can get a certain percentage back on the cookie dough
today I used this coupon at Target for refrigerated cookie dough that was marked down to $2.15 also used $0.55 off Target coupon making it $.60!
That was a misuse of this coupon. This one is for cookie dough found in the freezer section. Not the regular refridgerated dough.
So,you mad! Lol! If the register allowed it that’s all that matters.
Let’s not go off on a tangent but…. please try to use the coupon for the appropriate item. This is why stores have become so strict in the past few years. Its happened to all of us in the past but as we learn more about coupons, we have to try to use them the way they were intended… thanks!
It’d be one thing if it was a mistake … But, if it was an intentional misuse of the coupon, then it is wrong! Why do you think all these retailers are getting tougher on coupon use? It’s because of those who “work” the system!
And let me guess Regina … You’d be one of the very first to be all upset and complain when Target changes their Coupon Policy, making it tougher to coupon and stricter “verification” of product purchases? “LOL!”
Just b/c the register took it, doesn’t mean the coupon was used correctly! Most importantly, if Target does not sell this item, they will not get reimbursed. My store does not (I looked Sat when I used my last $5/25 Frozen foods coupon).
I really don’t understand the mentality of those who try to get over the system by cheating?! There are plenty of good, legit deals posted here (and other sites). And then those who do misuse, get all bent out of shape when they get a cashier that scrutinizes their coupons!

Regina … As mel stated, just because the register accepted a coupon, it doesn’t automatically make it okay/correct use. How many times have we all had completely legit coupons that have beeped at the register? Obviously the system is not perfect then!!! And I agree with Ugh! that if it was a mistake fine, but intentional misuse of a coupon sux … For the retailer that possibly won’t get reimbursed, to the couponers who might have to pay with policy changes later on. (crystal ellis … I’m not trying to single you out only. I’m not sure how long you’ve been couponing, but I’m pretty new myself and have learned a lot through trial/error and blog sites like this. I’ve even gotten “schooled” by others. :[ I just hope everyone understands that the little savings you might receive now could end up costing us all in the long run.)
