FYI, I am African American and always thought this was an ethnic product. Depending on your skin type, I would research this before I used it. 🙂
It has 2% hydroquinone in it, which is used for hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scarring, age spots, sun spots. Derms prescribe this in higher doses for all the above issues.

Fyi – I always thought this was an African American product usually used to make skin lighter . I am from the islands and this is what most people there use to lighten their complexion from the tropics 🙂 so def research this before using :-).. Hope this helps!
I’m white and I used this for a dark spot under my eye and it practically disappeared. I’ve heard you can also lighten underarm areas as well.
