My Walgreens gave me so much trouble while trying to use those coupons and manufacturer coupons… I do not think I will be couponing at Walgreens anymore…

    • Brooke

I knew when I saw this deal before that there was NO way I would even try to combine both coupons! Walgreens would never let me get by with that! I have a hard enough time just with manufacturer coupons there.

Don’t let a store bully you or deny you from a deal. Their policy clearly states that a store and manufacture coupon can be combined. Have it printed and the corporate number on speed dial. Call them in store right at the register if needed. If your gonna be a couponer, you need to put the work in to it and know your stuff. If not, then you will let many great deals pass you by.

I did get my deal like I wanted but it was just a hassle to go through it. I just don’t think it is worth stressing over. Maybe if there are some good deals in the future, I will give it a try again 😉

      • Brooke

I know my stuff as a couponer, but I like to keep my days happy and undue stress to a minimum. There’s enough stress in everyday life to argue about a bottle of shampoo or such, especially when I can shop at many different stores with just as great of deals.

I know. Walgreens used to be my favorite store but not anymore. They built a CVS across the street and I am learning hot to use them.

    • Brooke

Hi, Pat. You will love CVS if yours is anything like mine. They are so nice and coupon friendly. They never treat me poorly and always make my coupons work. Love them! I refuse to give a dime to Walgreens.

I had a problem trying to stack this coupon with a manufacturer coupon. Do you think it’s because we didn’t have a filler item? I tried to do it and I believe that was the problem because they don’t allow you to use more coupons than number of items purchased. I know that rule doesn’t apply to the in-ad coupons but maybe this internet coupon is not being treated like an in-ad coupon and therefore we would need a filler item to use both (walgreen internet coupon with a manuf coupon). What do you guys think?

Thats why I love my meijers – they let you use competitor coupons. And meijers has a deal going on right now with Sauve – Buy one, get 50% off another item. So Im going to buy two sauve professional shampoos – one will be $1.99, the other $0.99 and then use the $2/1 Walgreen coupon and the $1/1 Walgreen coupon – making them both free at Meijer 🙂

    • Brooke

Thanks for that idea, Samantha! I hadn’t really looked over Meijer’s ad that well yet. I love Meijer’s too. So easy to coupon there!

I was able to score 2 of each of these coupons! When I clicked the link I was able to print the coupons right after sharing. Then I got an email from Unilever with 2 other coupons! I made sure all of the coupons were valid and was pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure how I made that happen, but now I have 2 $2/1 coupons for each product. Hoping there’s a great sale I can use these on soon!
