Who has used up and up brand of diapers before? Are they comparable to Huggies or pampers? Thanks!

    • Gretchen

I love these diapers. They are not as soft as huggies, but they have never leaked and most of them have a wet strip indicator. I have used them for all 3 of my kids. I’m not a fan of Pampers after I used the dry max, they smell funny and leave little crystals behind because of all the chemicals in them and my daughter would get a rash. I switched to up and up because the cheaper the diaper, the less chemicals, and we haven’t had any rashes since.

    • lb

I use them all the time. I used to use pampers and i switched at about 9 months. I have noticed a lot less leaking since I switched.

    • Shelly

I have four kids. I used only Pampers for my first, switched to Up & Up as my second got older just to save money and have never gone back. I received a box of Pampers for my fourth, who is now 3 months, and was excited once I ran out so I could switch back to Up & Up. I have never had issues with leaks or rashes.

      • Beth

three kids ALL in Up& UP…recently they changed and are getting mixed reviews these days but we still love them!

    • Janet

I bought some last yr when the Xmas pkgs went on clearance last yr, good thing I got them on clearance because it didn’t like them at all!! Always leaking and they weren’t good to use during the night. My lil man always woke up wet when I tried them for nightime. Hth!

      • Bc

I agree. These are horrible for night use. They work fine in the morning when it gets change more often but leaks overnight.

    • Angie

I used to use these all the time for 5years, i have three kids 5 3 and 2. They seemed to have made changes to them and my kids would leak almost every night. I wouldnt waste the money.

  2. Sara

I use the Target brand almost exclusively over any other brand. They are great!

  3. Ramya

    Thanks Collin …

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  4. Mer

Found coupon books at my target service desk and registers with a $1 off any $3 or more up and up purchase. Can’t remember the name of the book but the cover is orange.

  5. K

I’m bummed that Target has downsized the size of their diaper boxes but not the price 😕 Used to be able to get a box of 180 size 3 diapers. Now for the same price (or more) you only get 160. I could understand if it was a few less diapers but that’s 20 less!

    • Jenn

      I agree with you!!

    • mary

I know…but I remember hearing that the cost of diapers would be increasing about a year ago and shortly after Luvs changed their box size too.😞 at least we still can save a bit with coupons

  6. Laura

LOVE these diapers! Like others have said, I used pampers for my first and wish I would have tried these! I prefer these with my second! Never leak, great fit. I actually think the waistband in the front comes up higher than the pampers do, which is a better fit in my opinion! I say definitely give them a try! I’m sure you could return if you’re absolutely dissatisfied. 🙂

  7. Coupon Dad

    What about size 5

    • Angela

They go up to size 6

  8. wishinitwas

I agree. I love these. My two kids in diapers wear them. Great deal.

  9. Laura

I use up and up during day and huggies at night as my son tends to leak at night

  10. Steph

Loved them for my daughter, leak like crazy for my son.

  11. Shannon

Target coupon mailer (included baby and child related coupons) I received last week included a $1.50 off a pack of Up & Up diaper purchase to make this deal even sweeter..

  12. Cortney

The add says u can by diapers n wipes to get this deal. Not just diapers.

    • jenn

Mine says just the diapers listed.

    • mayra

The ad shows diapers and wipes but say to get $20 gc buy 2 diapers shown

  13. Amber

What about the subscribe option online? Has anyone does this with their only Target diaper order? It says you save 5% and can get 20% off if your first subscription.

    • Amber

Oh just saw that the coupon code is for non-subscription orders online. Should not be allowed to type while pregnant. 🙂

  14. Judy

explains why all the UP&UP diapers were on clearance the last few weeks – new packaging with fewer diapers per box

  15. Michelle

I love UP and UP diapers! I have not tired the newer version yet.

I think I fell for the Pampers Swaddlers marketing because that’s all the hospital gave us. Around size 3 we switched to Pampers Baby Dry. Then to Huggies Overnights.

I wish I knew about Up and Up diapers earlier because I think it is better than all 3 types I’ve tried!!!

Tip: Use regular sizing in the day and up one size at night, to accommodate for all the extra liquids. I have been doing that since my little girl was 6 months old and we have never gotten a leak or had to buy another over night diaper again! But when my little girl sleeps over 12 hrs at night then I will get a little moistness around her diaper but never a leak.

  16. moe

I only use UP and UP. My son had a horrible rash from pampers as a newborn. My husband works for target which is why i choose these. I am also sad the sizes changed but they are still cheaper and better. I have another lil one on the way so I bought 4 boxes (in 2 transactions), used my 5% pharmacy discount, 10% target employee discount, up and up coupon for $1 off each.

    trans1: 2 boxes 28.99
$2 off (coupons), 5% pharmacy, 10% discount, 5% red card
    =45.46 + $20 gifcard

trans 2: Same as above but added $20 giftcard(from trans 1) to pay so
    =25.46 + $20 giftcard from this trans.
=70.92 or 17.73 per box with $20 gift card for later use.

    • LC

Can you explain the 5% of pharmacy discount?

      • MAK

If you use the Target pharmacy they have a rewards card. For every five prescriptions filled they send a card for 5% off your purchases for a whole day. Every once in a while they offer double rewards during a month as well. All October was double points per script.

  17. angela

Been using up & up for my 2 week old no problems. Used a Huggies I received as a sample and he leaked pee all up his back. Too bad these deals don’t come in size 1 or newborn

  18. Mya

And… if anybody has the Fall coupon book, there is a $1 off a $3 or more purchase of UP and UP product to further your savings!

  19. MAK

I didn’t see anyone mention the Cartwheel app yet… the Up & Up diapers are on there for 5% off too!

  20. Mihaela

Does anyone know if the deal would work with clearance diapers in store?

    • Judy

probably – if you could find the giant packs and not just the “super packs” – they may have changed the names of packages which would prevent it from generating the gift card
also, the clearance packs are available online right now

  21. angel

can I add cartwheel discounts on an online order?

  22. mkpassey

I ordered two packs yesterday and selected email as the gift card delivery which, according to their website, should take up to 4 hours for delivery. Well, it’s the next day and I still haven’t seen the gift card. Any ideas on why not? Anyone else experiencing that?

  23. sujata rao (@sujatarao)

Does anyone know when Target will do this promotion again? I got like 1/2 a year’s worth of diapers during this one but wish I had gotten more. This is the absolute cheapest I’ve seen decent quality diapers ever.
