Canon printers are made to not have their ink cartridges refilled. However, I was able to scramble my printer and bypass the ink level measure. I get my ink refilled for $8, versus $22 and $27 for new cartridges.

I purchased this printer and really regretted it. I have never been able to get it to print from my Ipad or Mac using Apple AirPrint. We basically just use it for the copy feature at this point. It takes forever for something to print, even when I use the USB cable. My husband and I are pretty tech savy but for some reason cannot get along with this Canon.
I couldn’t get ours to work either .. and I bought 2 last year for family gifts. They are both sitting in the box unused!
I also purchased this printer and never got it to work due to internal errors. Reached out to Canon customer service and they were useless. Returned the printer to Amazon and got an Epson. Never looked back.
I have this printer. Got it after my last Canon printer died on me. It’s not bad, but I never have been able to get it to print Redplum coupons, or Publix’s email coupons. It’s the first printer I’ve ever had that refuses to print them. It just prints the top of the coupon over and over and OVER again.
Can I order this through ebates and get the rebate too?
I have this printer, got it a few months ago on clearance at target for $60, not a bad printer. I print from my iPhone and laptop. No issues so far. Works for me 🙂 it has the wifi air print feature, which is great!

I bought this about 6 months or so ado on an awesome target deal! I love it, I can print from both iPhones & my iPad, have never had any issues printing anything from my laptop. I get super cheap re manufactured ink cartridges from Amazon, and they last very well. I would most definitely buy this again
I bought this printer about two months ago and it’s been fine. I had to talk to customer support about something – I can’t remember what now- and they were very nice and helpful.
All you do is go to EBay and type in “Canon Pixma MG5520 ink” and about 1000 sellers pop up…lol. Just click the “buy it now” tab and pick from a seller that has a decent rating and free shipping.
Keep in mind…this is refurbished ink!

I ordered one just now. I was just telling my mom I wanted to get a new printer because the Lexmark I have is starting to fizzle out on me. It’s very temperamental. I put a brand new ink cartridge in it and the sensor doesn’t read it’s a full cartrisge so it will not print. You also can not refill the ink cartridges and just last month I spent over 100.00 in ink and that was 2 black cartridges and 2 color and the cartridges only lasted 2 weeks I only used it to print coupons seeing I just started couponing. I thonk I got maybe 60 to 80 pages printed on one cartridge. I could have purchased 2 of these new printers with the amount I spent on Lexmark ink. The Lexmark has been a ok printer it does print a good page but I wouldn’t rave about it like this deal on the all in one wireless Canon. I knew I wanted a wireless printer so I could print from my phone, my tablet, my laptop and my desktop if I’d like to and I have 2 desktops in my household. I thought about buying 2 but decided to go with just 1 for now and if they are on sale around blackfriday I’ll buy another then but being wireless and all I don’t really need to because itz WIRELESS its just a really GOOD deal! Oh and the best part the ink cartridges are so cheap. On Amazon.com they are even cheaper I can get 5 cartridges for under 30.00 and they say the ink cartridges have a 2 year shelf life my Lexmark dried up in the printer within a few months before I started couponing and didn’t print ad much. If you are thinking about this deal I would say RUN to get it before today is over. Oh and one more thing the ratings are very high I would of paid $149.00 for this printer but thank goodness I didn’t have to its on sale for 49.99 a $100.00 dollar savings. Oh oh the cherry on top of this sale is FREE SHIPPING!!! Oh yeah I am a happy girl my Christmas present came early thank you to my little girl I took it out of your Christmas money you were saving to buy me a Christmas present with. Bought this the other day and it arrived last night. It was EASY to set up and I promptly printed out about 100 coupons. After being without a printer since early summer, I had so much fun last night playing with this thing. I love it. It’s way fancy compared to my old crappy HP that was a headache and a half to deal with. It’s a lot larger than I thought it was going to be so it doesn’t fit on my desk, however it’s wireless so I just put it in a different location.
