If you’re a Meijer shopper, check out the email I received from reader, Jamie…

I just got in from Meijer and scored an awesome meat deal. The Jennie O turkey 2.5 lb breast oven ready was $11.49 (normally $13.49). Checkout51 and Ibotta are both offering a $5 rebate. So after rebates only $1.49![/h2s_box]

Do you know what section of the store you can find this in? Fresh meat or frozen?

    • Bonez

Frozen section. You can cook them in a crock pot, very convenient!

Anybody know the price at Walmart or target?

    • Marcheta

At my local Walmart and Target, these are usually priced per pound. I have seen starting prices around $5.00.

    • Nikki

$2.73/pound at my Walmart on the Turkey Breast

    • Marcheta

      Sorry, I meant $7.00.

Does the receipt for Checkout 51 have to be uploaded by the 5th or just purchased by then? I’d have my husband pick one up on his lunch but he doesn’t get off until 1a.m. and can’t get the receipt in until the 6th

    • Brooke

Hi, Holly. It has to be uploaded by today.

      • Holly (@wispsofthewind)

        Well, shoot! Thank you

    • Jamie

Found mine at Walmart for under $10 so it was a money maker for me.

  5. Jessica

Argh! Didn’t get the offer on Checkout51. 🙁 Got it on ibotta though. Anyone else not get it on Checkout51?

    • Amy

I didn’t get it on checkout 51 either. Strange how that works. I find that I don’t get a lot of offers that others do, but I redeem quite a bit of the ones I do get. I would think they’d give me more.

      • Jessica

Same here. I am finding that on ibotta as well. Maybe they’re punishing us for using the apps so much. Lol

I have tried the oven ready turkey breast in the past. Thought it was great but VERY salty. Overall I don’t think I would buy one again, even for the great price!

  9. Amie

0.07 money maker – woot woot! Checkout 51 did load it again for me this week. Cannot do the Ibotta again but would still just be $4 for a 2.5 pound turkey breast.
