Is the $30 total calculated before or after MQ? Also does a Target gift card promo affect the amount that goes towards the $30? Thanks!

    • Janet

      Should be before coupons. Hth!

    • suzann

It’s before. My $10 hit this week 🙂

  2. Taya

would love to see some deal scenarios! 🙂

    • ginger

      buy 8 tide pods (split transactions) @$3.94 = $31.52 – (8) $2 mq – $10 cb = $5.52 oop then get $10 back from savings star. hth

      • Suzyq

I think the $2/1 is valid for the 31ct or larger and those are not the ones on sale 🙁

        • mel

The $2/1 Tide Pods I have (I believe from the 10/12 RP) only excludes the 5 ct pods.

My CVS does not carry more than 4-6 of the 14-ct Pods on the shelf. Since this is going to be a hot deal, I asked my manager to pre-order 8. Otherwise I’m sure all stores will be OOS within the first day of the sale!

          • anon

How do you get so many red plum coupons? Clipping service?

            • mel

I get extra inserts from my husband’s job. Whatever papers are leftover on Sunday night, get’s thrown in the recycle bin. If he works early enough on Monday morning, he will sift through them. He can get anywhere from 8-10 sets. Luckily he worked the wkend that coupon came out!

  3. Happymama

Is it before coupons or after?

  4. Sona

It’s usually before coupons and gift card deals but store deals like BOGO 50% affect these..

  5. meghan

I started using this already at TArget. I bought 3 downy unstoppables at 8.99 each and got back a $10 dollar gift card. I used a $3 off 2 coupon and a $2 off 1 coupon. So on saving star I have 26.97 towards this goal. So I will probably buy the tide pods to finish it off.

    • Agata

yay! I will be buying 6 unstopables tonight cuz my family loves them so much! 8.99*6=53.94 will use:
      two $3/3 Target coupons
      four $2/1 MQ coupons
      one $3/2 MQ coupons
      Pay $36.94
      Get two $10 GC, net total= 16.94
Submit for Saving Star for $10 credit. Net cost 6.94 for 6 bottles, yay!

  6. Terri

For the Ziploc deal SavingStar credited me after coupons not before. Any one else have this problem?

    • barb

Yep same problem so I emailed them and attached a copy of my receipt, still waiting to hear back.

      • Terri

This was their response to me:
Thank you for sending that in! Our One or Many offers are calculated after all store discounts, sales and coupons have been applied.

        • mel

That’s odd. The reply on their fb page when someone asked a while ago, is one or many deals are calculated before coupons. I did the Glade deal at Target on Sunday and they credited me $14.95, which is the cost of 5 @ $2.99. They did not deduct the coupons or GC.

          • anon

Yep. I also got full credit back on One A Day when they had $10 off $30 or something similar.

    • Janet

You should contact them, it happened to me before and I contacted them and I received the credit for the amount I was missing right away.

  7. Mayra

SavingStar won’t give you full credit if you buy the downy unstoppables with the Target gc…at least it didn’t work for me, I bought 3 and only 2 qualify, the purple one didn’t and they only gave me credit for one.

  8. srujana

SavingStar discount worked for me after coupons. I used it during Kmart double coupon promotion last week.

    I bought 3 Tide pods 16ct for $5 each – Used (3) $2 off 1 coupon
    8 Febreze set & refresh $2.99 each – Used (4) B1G1 coupon

    Total before coupons – 3 * 5 + 8 * 2.99 = $38.92
    Total After coupons – $14.96

Got $10 from saving star and submitted for another $10 P&G rebate running at select kmart stores.

  9. Christine

Then submit the $10 rebate after you purchase these items, right? So you are saving another $10 on top of that. That’s what I was planning on doing.

  10. Christine

I did mine at CVS with the $10 gc wyb $30, I purchased 2 Tide pods 57 ct at $14.99 and 2 febreeze candles @ 4.39, used 2 $2/1 tide pod coupon and $3/2 febreeze coupon and my 25% cvs coupon for the candles b/c they were not on sale and after coupon and discount my subtotal was $31.06, I received an email from Saving Star saying I only met $29.98 of my $30.00, I sent a reply back to them and they credited my acct for the entire $30 purchase. I received my $10 gc from CVS and the $10 rebate from saving star so oop was only $11.06

  11. Dena

At CVS, you can receive a $10 gift card after you spend $30 on certain products…Is the amount for the sale price or the shelf price??? Has anyone received a gift card for these items?

    • Christine

If I’m not mistaken these items are advertised in the ad so it would be the sale price not the shelf price that would make up the $30.

  12. Stacy Ditto

Can you only get this deal 1 time? Or can you do it multiple times?
