Anyone have the “barbie glam vacation house” ? I want to get my 6 year old a doll house but am terrified to purchase the dream house for over $100 only to have her play with it for one day lol so, I was thinking of getting the smaller one but I don’t know if it’s too small for her?!
My daughter is 5 and plays with her dreamhouse CONSTANTLY. My kids are normally the kind that get bored of something after only a few times playing with it. The best part of the dream house is you can buy different furniture or accessories for it (cheap on eBay!) periodically to keep her interested.
My honest opinion, is that she will get bored quickly with the glam vacation house. It is quite small and from the kids I babysit, they have both the vacation house and the dream house. The dream house is what they play with a majority of the time. Very rarely do they even touch the vacation house, and before they had the dream house they didn’t play with the vacation house very often either. They use the dream house for tons of things besides barbies, like just little figurines, other dolls, toys, and random things. The dream house just has so many more options and is so much bigger that it’s hard to get bored with. And like another reader commented you can buy furniture on eBay for cheap to change it up a little bit. Sometimes we also make our own furniture or things for the doll house! We make it a crafting project! I find little projects online or on Pinterest for doll house furniture or Barbie furniture and than it’s a double bonus! Craft project plus end up with things for the dream house that they love even more because they made it! So if you can manage to afford it, I would definitely say go for the dream house because it will get wayyy more use than the vacation house! 🙂 🙂

Wonder if this us the cheapest we will see the camper this season? Debating on ordering. Oh and the dreamhouse is costly but my daughter has played with it constantly all year. The cheap Black Friday beach house hardly ever gets played with.
