Just a little fyi….I have a Starbucks in my Target and they won’t take these because their cash registers are Target’s and not Starbucks.
I have used Starbucks gift card at Target without any problems. I wonder if only certain Target’s will take them.
Was it a Groupon via your phone? They wouldn’t take mine a few months ago.
I use this at target I just apply it to my card on the Starbucks app and pay as normal. Have you tried that. Maybe your target is different.
How did you apply it to your starbucks card because that’s what I want to do I’ve never used groupon before.
If you follow the groupon prompts for redemption, you end up with a Starbucks gift card number, just like as if you purchased the gift card straight from Starbucks. Then you go in your app and add the gift card to your account.
You can do it via the Starbucks website easily. The groupon gives you a number.

That’s a bummer. I can use Starbucks gift cards on Starbucks items only at my Target. If I want something that’s not Starbucks, I need to use another form of payment.

Same thing for me. Starbucks no problem, but my target won’t store won’t accept.
Probably not but not sure–I tried to use this at Barnes and NObles Starbucks and wouldn’t work…since was in Barnes and Nobles store.
The cafes inside Barnes & Nobles are not Starbucks. They are B&N’s own shop that use and brew Starbucks coffee/syrup.
We went to Disney world a few months ago and we were able to use our giftcard.
i used my starbucks card (through my smartphone app) at Disneyland no problem. Maybe transfer the egift card amount to your own starbucks card?!
I have always used my starbucks app on my phone at disneyland, so maybe the same with disneyworld!

I got something that says at&t has sent u a $20 starbucks egift card….but it went to spam…..is this legit
I got something similar a while back and my antivirus software picked it up as malware.
I got the same one but I don’t use AT&T as my carrier… Weird
no… don’t open it. it downloads something to your computer when you click on it and if you open that you’re going to get a virus. i emailed starbucks and they said it was not a valid offer and they were working to try and stop the spread of that email.

Is this a groupon I have to redeem at Starbucks, or can I apply it to my Starbucks card like any other Starbucks gift card so there’s no expiration date? I want to get this for my mom, but she doesn’t go to Starbucks all that often. She wouldn’t have to use it all at once either, right??? Thanks!
I have done this $5 for $10 Starbucks many times Su. I take in my Groupon printed out and hand them one of their gift cards and the clerk just transfers …then I can give my gift recipient a “normal” gift card…not a piece of paper.
Su, you can apply it to your Starbucks card. I just go to the web site and add it to my regular card. HTH.
Yay! i got it. Perfect gift for a coffee addict like me. Off topic but i checked the toy cartwheel today and its for barbie and tawny horse set. Well on target.com it says not sold in stores and sold out online. Am i missing something?

Yes, you can use this at Disney! Just transfer the groupon on to your normal starbucks plastic card.

Very disappointing!!! Groupon has always been open to everyone.
I received the invite E-mail for it, but when I go to purchase it, it says it’s “Invite Only”. Well duh!
I went on groupon this morning, in hopes that the offer was opened up to everyone and there was a small banner (like there usually is) and I clicked on it. I tried to purchase one and it said it went through. But it never charged my card, nor did I get an e-mail from them. I did a live chat with a rep and she said that it’s by invitation only still and that she didn’t think it would be opened up to everyone. And sure enough, the banner I saw early this morning is gone.
