  nintendo 3ds work on the 2 ds. These game will not work on a regular ds. :). The difference between a 3ds and the 2ds is that it does not have the capability of playing in 3d

  Just got the 2ds for my son. This should work but haven’t tried it yet. Says it plays 3ds and all DS games

   Was thinking about getting this, but looks like you need the first set, Spyros, to even use it. Its an expansion only to that game???? Will this figure work in the Swapforce game?

  if you have the skylanders swapforce game and portal this game should work fine for you. you will be able to use this figure in the swapforce game as well
