Does anyone use this? How does it work? I do have prime

Curious as well about how it works. If it’s worth it. We have Apple TV already

Anyone else having trouble entering the $5 off code? It keeps coming up with a “page not found” message when I go to enter the code.

I just hooked mine up last night. It works fine. I’m not sure what I expected. I have Prime but I dont find a lot to watch. There are a ton of apps so there is plenty to explore. There really arent any instructions so I have been playing with it for a few hours.

It just came out not many of any will have this already. I got in on the pre order a few weeks ago and have not got it yet. According to the product details they were trying to one up the chrome cast plus it streams prime shows easier. I have a chrome cast now and like it. My kids like the pbs kids app that has shows on it and it’s really easy to cast that right to the TV. We also use vudu on it. I junk what’s going to be nice about the fire stick is the remote so it is like a cross between the chrome cast and roku.

I preordered the Fire Stick, too. Mine says available January 5th. Hopefully we’ll get them soon! 🙂

Did you try out the free Hasbro games for Chromecast? They are quite entertaining. There is a very good Wii like version of Wheels of Fortune from Sony for only $2.99.

We have Amazon Fire TV, so I’m guessing that the Fire Stick is pretty much the same, only without a voice activated remote. We really love it! We have Prime & Hulu Plus and always find something good to watch.

We pre-ordered it when it was $19 on Amazon, and so far we really like it. Still figuring it out since it’s my first streaming device, but at the moment I would recommend it. We had been considering a Roku, but I am glad to not have to find a place for another box near the tv.

ok , we have directv now, would this take its place and is this just streaming through the internet, our internet is really slow and costly. would like to find a solution so we actually can watch popular shows and movies. Im not very tech savy

I hooked up my Fire Stick yesterday and so far I like it. It has a small remote that it comes with but you can also download a remote app so that you can do voice search and other things. It streams Prime shows/movies very easily and you can download apps to stream Netflix, Hulu, and other things. Lots of options. Can’t beat the price really!!

    Out of stock??

In stock for me. Thanks, Collin! I am so excited! Had this in my Amazon cart during the presale but forgot to check out. Missed the $19 price. My husband was disappointed. This works out wonderfully! What a great Christmas surprise!

I heard great things about this device and I missed the 19 deal. I cancelled my order via Amazon

I ordered one from Amazon, got it last week. Really like it as it has all the features of prime, such as video and music — which I really like the new playlist feature on Prime Music. I however did not like the fact that it was a bit misleading, I assumed from the picture and the commercial that you could just plug it into your tv, however such was not the case. Make sure you have a free plug somewhere, because it does require a power source and then an HDMI connection.
