I have never heard of these, but I will give them a try for $7. Anyone have feedback on these? How do you get the food in?
There’s a ziploc type opening at the top.
I’m pretty sure they have a “zipper” on the top. The only down side is that the spout is on the side. I’m thinking it would be confusing since most are on the top. Just my opinion though.
I don’t have this brand, but I have the Little Green Pouch, and it has the same zipper opening at the top. I use a funnel to get the food inside!
I ordered these the last time the price dropped down. I haven’t used them yet but the quality seems really nice! The only thing I will say is that it too them a while to dry after washing before I was willing to put them away. I was worried about mold/mildew.
Once you clean them, put them in the freezer. It will keep any bad stuff from growing. When you are ready to use them, pull them out and they will be ready to go. No need to worry about mold.
Such a good idea. Thanks for the tip!
I have the little green pouch brand as well & I like them. My one complaint is getting them clean enough. Just like a ziploc they have a tiny little lip along the edge that you have to be sure & get clean. I use a bottle brush for regular cleaning & folded pipe cleaners if I need to get in the little grooves. The freezer tip is a good one I’m going to try! My 6, 3 & almost 1 year olds all love to eat out of them. They’re great for sticking in my 6 year old’s lunch for school & for putting in the diaper bag. I’ve used them mostly for yogurt, applesauce & pureed baby food. The lids to the store bought pouches fit them too so that’s good to know for extra lids. I tried a funnel but it seemed messier for me so I just pour the food right in, using a spoon if I need to control the flow.
My mother got them for me as a gift. I love them. They are very sturdy, really well constructed and easy to clean. They also dry really fast and are also dishwasher safe. The closure at the top is a heavy duty ziplock type. As far as the spout on the side, my 10 month old and my three year old have no issues using it. I was skeptical about these at first but they work. They are also a bit bigger than the store bought pouches but my boys would go through two of the other store bought ones where these they are happy with just one. 😉 It is a huge money saver. On very busy days with a lot of errand ronning, I will just pour a jar of baby food into one of these pouches for my 10 month old. That make life a bit easier for a mother of four energetic boys. 😉
I bought these the last time they were this same price and I really like them! It is a little tricky sometimes to get the food in (depending what it is) but using a funnel works great. It is like a ziplock zipper on the top and the spout is on the side, but that doesn’t seem to matter to my son (11 months)- he loves them. They go in the dishwasher just fine and I just make sure they are dry inside before putting them away. I haven’t had any problems and have been using them for about a month or so and think they are worth the purchase!
I liked sili squeeze, its silicone and u can switch tops for easy flow or one they have to suck. Its a lil pricey (around 20 online, just google the company) i did tons of research and i find sili squeeze cleans up and is super durable. I still have my original ones from a year and half ago.
Thanks, got mine!
