I keep seeing all these awesome debate deals and I just moved into my first apartment so I need EVERYTHING. Any real “hip” experience with rebates? How long do they take and are they a big hassle?
It’s not terrible. I do make copies of everything because one year I didn’t get my check and had to send it again. But the rebate center was really quick about correcting it. I’m thinking I sent off my paperwork in December and it was late February before I got the rebates. I’ve done it 3 or 4 times now. Wouldn’t hesitate to do it again if I needed more kitchen stuff 🙂
My advice is to keep an excel sheet, keeping track of the rebates and the dates, contact info etc. I think u can really save a lot of money with rebates as long as your really organized about it and keep track 🙂 Best of luck in your new pad!
We have this set in red, but it has a couple different pieces. It is a nice set and a good variety of sizes, and what we could afford at the time of us moving into our new place 1.5 years ago. They wash great!! The non stock is still going strong, after everyday use! (Hand wash, never dishwasher washed) They look new still! My ONLY complaint is the handles come lose way too often. It’s not really a big deal as I just tighten them up when needed, but thought I’d mention it. I believe I paid quite a bit more for my set ($100 on sale, no coupons). The 4 piece utensil set is also of quality. We use ours quite often (even dishwasher wash them), and they still are in great shape! Target has a 20 piece red T-Fal set on Black Friday for $50 that we will be pickup for a gift!

Same issue with mine! Handles always loosen up and I have to tighten them with a screwdriver a few times a month. Love the set and have had it since last Nov. – use daily.

Is there a difference between this “Inspiration” set and the “Simply” set that is on Target’s Black Friday ad? I want to get a good stable set for my home but still debating between this one and the Rachael Ray set. Is this set compatible ? Anyone with good experiences? I got a Rachael Ray set before and it’s holding up good. We do a lot of cooking so we need more pots and pans. TIA !

If you’ve never had TFal before, don’t hesitate to buy. This stuff is wonderful. I received two sets about 25 years ago when it first came out, and my sets are still going strong, except for my fry pans ( I wore them out!) Just remember to use NON-METALIC UTENSILS with them, otherwise you will scratch the non-stick surface. (which is how my fry pans wore out.)
I bought a set last year and had to return them due to the bottoms were sharp and could be used on a glass top stove. Does anyone know what the bottoms of these pans look like this year? I really want these, this is a great price.
