This a good deal but very cheap method in future boil teabag and put on cold sore as soon as you feel it coming on. It goes away next day! My daughter gets them and a Indian lady told me about it. Works every time!

Does it make a difference what type of tea bag you use? Thanks for the tip!

Another steeped tea bag tip, place on a pimple/cyst, until cool, will lessen it. I use green tea for this.

Wow! I didn’t know this… thanks much for the tip!

Thanks for the tea tips I will continue to follow this post. In the mean time I wonder if I purchase this at rite aid and pay with +ups will they give me a full refund.. I am sitting on $40 in Rite aid ups and unsure what I want to get with them. I know the 3 day sale is looking pretty sweet for rolling them and getting stocking stuffers. Thanks for the deal and tea bag tips.. I love this coupon family!! 🙂 Your all awesome!

This stuff is AWESOME and I used to buy this first thing when I felt a cold sore coming on, until I figured out that its just Bactine mixed with a small amount of numbing medication. So now I just have a bottle of Bactine on hand for when I start to feel one coming on. Works just as well and SO much cheaper!!!

    • Donna

Thanks for the tips on using tea bags and Bactine. I’ll have to try these.

I can’t tell when mine is coming. I can only tell when it’s there.

i actually hate this stuff. I was surprised to see so many people like it. I got it for free as a smiley mission. I woke up in the middle of the night, felt it coming on so I used this first thing instead of abreva. I went back to bed and when I woke up I had MORE cold sores. That had never happened to me, and the only difference was using this instead of abreva. I wouldn’t use this if it was free (in this case for example).. pass!!!
