Oh no they are refurbished? Where in the description does it say that, I was going to order one.
If you scroll down the page to where it shows the products info like measurements, weight, etc it’ll show condition as being “Refurbished”. At least for the HDX 7″ 32GB.
If you look farther up it will say the condition is new. If it is refurbished it will say so it the item description. When I called I was told that you can buy one refurbished, but it is new!
This is a great deal for the new Kindle HD 7 16gb. It is the newer Kindle out. They don’t have the color options, but all the specs line up to the newest model. The Kindle HDX and other Kindles listed appear to be last years model/refurbs. Yay for this price! 🙂

I recently purchased a refurbished kindle fire 7 HDX from amazon. Even though it is refurbished it has a 1 yr warranty and is in perfect condition. I wouldn’t pass up a great deal just because it isn’t new. You can always return it to the staples store if it isn’t up to your standards.
