This is just my opinion but someone may find it helpful. Emerson is not a good brand. Every Emerson I ever had has gone bad within a year. Insignia is a best buy store brand. It is made by LG. In my opinion the best brand if TV. I sure entry have insignia tv’s in the house and love them. I actually purchased this exact 40in. It arrived in 2 days! It’s a beautiful tv and a full picture. I give this tv and brand 6 out of 5 stars. And no I don’t work for best buy. I make dentures for a living. 🙂
I bought an Emerson brand TV during a Black Friday sale at Walmart. This was four years ago. It’s still working perfectly today. But I must have gotten lucky! Lol..

Love this TV. Got one a few months ago for $219. It is a great TV, especially for the price. I’m watching it right now! We watch Netflix and Amazon Prime movies on it through the Roku all the time. 🙂
